Heavy Metal lost his Maestro. Pianist, orchestra maeatro, lyric singer, spoke 5 language. The guy was a genius. Created Viper at 14 and at 16 was already well known in the metal scene, left to finish his music studies, then co-created Angra and the band represents a generation in Brazil. Thought it wasnt enough and left the band to create another huge band: Shaman. Shaman's Ritual was one of the best album in Power Metal history. Everything the guy touched was a sucess. Descanse em paz!

This is so sad. RIP Andre Matos, and thank you both for paying tribute to this sweet sweet man.

Vocalist totally reminds me of Michael Kiske from Helloween. RIP Brother, that sucks. I'll definitely be checking out this band now.

Again, thank you so much for this reaction. Andre was very important to so many people in Brazil. He was (is) a model to a lot of musicians. His music inspired so many people and Angra was one of the bands that put Brazil on the heavy metal map in the 90's. From the bottom of my heart, as a Brazilian and someone that was touched by his voice, thank you.

One of their best... It has a killer riff on it.

We have some awesome bands in Brazil, such as Hangar, Almah, Shaman, Angra, Korzus, Project 46, Sepultura... Thank you for react to our best lead singer Andre Matos.... As for that song, it looks like the lyrics were re-meaning for us due to Andre's death... not only that song, but also other ones, like Pride on Shaman's era, and Make believe still in Angra's days...

The homage is much appreciated. We're still mourning our Maestro, and it warms my heart to see people paying respect to his greatness. The man was a fucking genius and my favorite Brazilian male voice

Carry on is indeed the signature song of the Andre era in Angra, but there are so many greater songs like Nothing to Say, Make Believe, Angels Cry and other songs from the band Shaman that you guys should listen to.

We, Brazilians, appreciate this reaction. Because of Angra and André Matos, amateur musicians like myself could try our luck in Brazilian metal scene. True pionneers!

Great reaction!!! You guys should check out Andre Matos's other band Shaman and react to both Fairytale and Lisbon from their live concert RituAlive that they did in Sao Paulo. You should also react to Andre Matos's first band Viper and do their live song Living For The Night from their live show To Live Again when Andre reunited with them back in 2012. Andre Matos was and is a Legend!! Every band or project that he did was phenomenal. He was extremely talented and his music will live on forever. Thanks again for paying a tribute to Andre.
