AnglingBuzz Show 7: Bobber Fishing Setups
Спорт
Bobber fishing is one of the best ways to catch a ton of different fish species. From walleye to panfish bobber set-ups are effective all year round. In this episode of AnglingBuzz we are going to take a look at a number of different bobber fishing setups. To begin the show we will join Jeremy Smith who's been having a lot of success bobber fishing walleye on Minnesota's Leech Lake. Then we will join Joel Nelson as he highlights the difference and benefits of using slip or fixed floats. To follow that up we’ll show off our weekly Blackfish giveaway and take a look at some must have fishing gear in our Cool Products segment. To wrap up the show we will join Jake Wallace as he shares his favorite slip bobber rod and reel setup.

Ive got some pencil thin bobbers that they use over in Europe for match fishing Thank goodness we can still use big floats here. Never thought about using tungsten and large bobbers though. I mostly use bobbers for catfishing now
What's a good slip bobber not to use so it doesn't get caught in the reel all the time when you cast?.. mine gets caught a lot of times even if I trim the tags.. any suggestions?

Try using the rubber bobber stops. Or try a rod specifically designed for slip bobbering. 2B fishing makes an amazing slip bobber rod.

@@brycehoffmann3237 That's exact rod I'm using and it's still doing it and I've never heard of anybody using rubber bobber stoppers .. what do you guys use? Do you use rubber ones or string?

Rubber works decent, I still use string more, try different brand stops, pull it good and tight. I use a razor blade to cut the tails flush, same way I join my braid and leader.
