In the mid-70s, I lived in Towyn NW. A group of us fished boat and shore on a regular basis. We used to have our own club called "SANDYCOVE." i don't know if it's still running today. Anyhow, today, it seems that fishermen are plagued with dogfish (cat sharks). These were caught by us also but not on the scale their caught by angler's today. Maybe it's because no one keeps them for eating anymore. My grandparents always ate them, they used to say "if you catch any rock salmon keep them for us". rock salmon was what they called them. Maybe if people started eating them again, their numbers would obviously be reduced. Anyhow thanks for sharing your video with us.❤

Good session 8 different species, nothing like variety, sure the tope will come along most probably when you're least expecting it . Good luck for the future.🦈

Its about time that a study was carried out to find out whats going on re the Dog Fish situation. Its seems to me that they are out of control. Other fish cant breed because the Dog Fish eat all of the young and eggs . We even have this issue over here in Ireland . Dog after Dog . Great stream mate keep them coming 👍👍👍👍

Great Video , I fished Moel Y Don, and several other marks on the straight all last week both sides of the tide ! No fish no bites bait stript by crabs ,All I can blame was the northerly winds for the lack of fish. Please keep these great videos coming.

Hi, just a question. I meant to ask you this in my previous comment. When I fished on the North coast of Anglesey in the mid-70s, sometimes on arrival to our intended venues we would find ourselves blown off due to weather & find that the place would be unfishable so we would trek to the the South Coast to fish. My question is this: Do you ever fish the South Coast of Anglesey? If so, have you caught fish there. There are some lovely beaches and coves there that look like they could produce some fish. I'll be truthful with you. I never saw a fish landed from the southern side. The only place we caught fish was Llanddwyn Island. I personally haven't spoken to anyone who has fished the southern coast and caught fish.

@@oshiforb7445 apart from the beach at Niwbwrch I didn't do a lot down that side. The Brynsiencyn to Aber Menai can fish well. Thanks for watching 👍🏿
