Why Angelina always performs barefoot♥👣 For those who do not know. At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina says she still thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. 'Between Two Hearts' Angelina Jordan interviewed by Anne Lindmo, NRK TV "Lindmo" 14/11/2015 (eng & esp sub) kzread.info/dash/bejne/X5d3rqaSYKa5ips.html ♥👣👸🏻🎷

When she was six years old, Angelina met a homeless, shoeless girl. After they talked for a long time, she gave the girl her shoes and vowed never to appear on stage wearing shoes until all the world’s children had them. Since that time, Angelina has always performed barefoot in public.

The barefoot is part of Angelina's mission to get shoes all kids of this world and she set up a charity for this. When she visited Iran, her grandmothers country of origin, she saw a young girl barefoot begging at the side of the road. Angelina gave the girl her shoes and decided to always perform without shoes. Along with her grandmother, who is a known artist, they wrote and published a book about the incident. It made Angelina the youngest person in Norway to publish a book. The proceedes go to her charity, so far she has collected, along with others, over 21 million Euro's.

The child had accompanied her grandmother to her homeland of Iran. There Angelina would encounter another child similar to her own age at the age of 5yrs. old, stopped to talk with this other child whose job was to weigh paying customers on a scale. The girl was barefooted wearing a ragtag clothing and during this conversation the girl kept staring at Angelina’s boots. So they talked and afterwards, Angelina took off her boots and handed them over to the girl. The girl was so taken back by the kindness that she told Angelina she would always remember her and would pray for her always. Angelina wrote a book about this encounter with this little girl and swore to herself from now on she will perform barefooted not until all children have shoes to wear. She was only 6yrs. old when she published the book of this encounter making her the youngest publisher to do so. Now I believe a lot more enchanted experiences had occurred during this one particular visit to this magical region of the world. Her grandmother was a popular artist and well connected and respected in her homeland and even throughout the global world community in the arts and poetry. I know it is speculation on my part but I am going to say it. Angelina seems to have been groomed from the moment of conception as a superstar. Her grandmother had the connection and the monetary backing to make the magic happen, from the mystery schools of the enchanted invoking spiritual incantation from powerful Wizards types of mystical human beings. Angelina was there with her grandmother to put on the magical finishing touch or could be the last blessing from these mystical human beings. I suppose that Angelina’s mother was there prior for the initial mystery magical touch. Her supernatural abilities seems to be to be able to channel those great performers of the past both female or male. Some of you may say that she is a living transformer who has the ability to tab into these great singers from the past. This may be known as having the ability to channel the greats from the past, but no one can deny this blast from the past, this magic, Angelina’s performances leave you with chills and goosebumps. Eventually you will acclimate yourself to this powerful effect and you go about your life feeling good about yourself. But you will always come back for more Angelina, perhaps one day you’ll see another human being in rags and barefooted and you will offer them the shoes you wear. That’s the impression that Angelina will leave with, that humanity matters and we are all in it together?

Yes, she's amazing here, and not just her style, but perfect pitch, and incredibly advanced vocal techniques etc. that she can only have learnt by just listening and practicing - and practicing... Angelina's done quite a few Covers now and made every one of them 'her own', but I'd like to see her do more of her own songwriting. We know she can. Her emotional tribute to the loss of her grandfaher in her 'Million Miles' being a fine example. { there's a couple of great clips, but I really prefer her live performance one just with the piano } We can be certain there's far more in that unique pipeline pending big reveals. I can't help thinking, watching this, just how developed her singing became just in that one year span, but also being exposed to the high production values of that show, that she must also have absorbed - like the creative sponge that she is - that all great artists are. Whatever she produces - she does with great care and professionalism and micro-attention to detail. What a fantastic career she's developing. I just hope she's staying well balanced and centred across all her 'life domains'. This is the great challenge for all young creatives with special talents, that their lazer focus on one area risks neglect of others. We have to remwmber, despite her mature presentaton that she's still in her teens!

Angelina said she taught herself how to sing by watching KZread jazz videos of Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, to name a few, and by practicing her singing 4-6 hours a day seven days a week. The only vocal training she has ever had was how to not damage her vocal cords. Wait till you hear her sing Unchained Melody at the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize Awards. Angelina Jordan is the only singer that I know of who can cover a song and change her voice to sound like the original artist throughout the entirety of the song without sounding like she’s doing an impression of the artist. She has been called the girl with a thousand voices for good reason. At 18 years old, she has the best vocal and breath control of any singer I know of. I’m 76 and don’t remember anyone who can do what she does with those vocal cords. Of course, she started at 1 1/2 so she’s already been singing for 16 1/2 years lol!

Hi Michael. This is Mike from Calgary. Thanks for an excellent reaction. I can only wish you the best of luck in trying to go sequential. It will take you a long, long time to accomplish that. What most people do is get as complete a playlist as possible and then pick out the songs they like, regardless of age. I’ve been following her for six years…I think I’ve seen them all, but there’s always one more to discover. Regarding the bare feet, she did an interview at age 8 or 9 where she explained how and why she does that. During that same interview, she sang Unchained Melody for the first time. Actually, that’s another way of exploring her library…pick a song and play all of her renditions over time. For example, Unchained Melody or Fly Me To The Moon or even Summertime. Whatever route you take, have fun and know there are thousands or maybe millions of people around the world who follow her. Cheers

Very nice reaction, Michael. Angelina is not only a great, self-driven musical artist, she's also a great human being. Please watch or react to the 2 attached links I'm putting below. The 1st one is an interview at 9 years old after publishing her book on why she doesn't wear shoes and the other is the song "Unchained Melody" she sang during the interview. This interview shows the heart of Angelina Jordan. kzread.info/dash/bejne/X5d3rqaSYKa5ips.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/qYSar9yGlaWyktI.html

@@michaelgoyettemusicyou’ve got to check out Miss Cassidy. “Somewhere over the rainbow,” You will need to react to this one. Her guitar and vocals were nothing short of pure heaven. Unfortunately she past away due to skin cancer in her 30s. According to Sting her rendition of fields of gold now the song belongs to her. Not word for word.
