When Angelina was very young she said.she goes to a special place when she sings and I believe she goes to where the character in the lyric is residing and put herself right there in their shoes and feels everything she sings.A true empath does that and she seems to be one in my opinion

One way she does this is to apply the meaning of the song to something in her life that is analogous in some way. I think that is why it comes out so genuine and not forced.

I would seriously consider reacting to the new single that Angelina premiered at the concert in Vegas. It is called Princess of Ruins. It is the story of why she sings barefoot! Very uplifting and emotional. The video from James Thiel once again is best! Peace out.

The difference in heartfelt ballad singing between her and Adele is that she's a true jazz specialist whereas Adele is in the 'Pop' genre and there is no way a non-jazz singer can match the emotion laden penetration of a jazz singer on a level with the great Billie Holiday, which is what Angelina is.

It's now second or third best after "if I Were a Boy" (a BC Jean/Beyonce makeover) and "Bad Valentine" (an Angelina/Toby Gad original). James Thiel has the approved video for "Bad Valentine" and it is a must watch. Thanks for reacting to this one as it is one of my favorites (plus the new ones)
