I am watching A Million Years by her fir the first time.! I am completely in awe of her!!! Soo glad you play these twice! I am 72 and a Mother of five. I am very sensitive and emotional and I too can’t wait to follow her! Her hand movements are so expressive, emotional and perfect!!! I am loving this with tears in my eyes too!

I saw another reaction person post a warning that anyone who had a song, if Angelina covers it, it will be better than their original. lol

How can she evoke such emotions and still be looking at the words to the song, what the hell is going on here, how is this possible, it must be coming through her from someplace else, this must be the true meaning of inspiration.

The magic is that she's reading the lyrics from a screen and yet can still tell the story with emotion and not just recite what she is reading, then smiles and waves at the end. Professional!

Come home from a hard day. Pour myself a Crown on the rocks. sit back in the recliner. start this song. close my eye' s and let her voice lift the the weight of the world off my shoulders. I can feel the stress just melt away.

Wolf that was one of the best reactions to our barefoot jazz princess now queen of jazz , so far. You are absolutely right ,while Adele is great her version is as fast food snack and Angelina's is the 7 course gourmet meal in the best restaurant in the country . She just can not be equaled in her presentation of this and her other covers . She has a God given quality that just can not be explained in mortal words. It is hard to come to grips with just good she is, you look at her and hear that heavenly voice and think this is not possible and yet there she is singing as if she just stepped out of a heavenly choir as the lead singer.

The truth is that Angelina has been taught to speak English alongside Norwegian from her very first words, and there are no official statement from her or anyone else in her family that she speaks any other languages except Norwegian and English.

Several platforms have stated that English is her third language. So I did not pull that out of a hat. And considering that I basically agreed with you and added a smidge more, for you to feel the need to attack me says much more about your integrity that it does mine. And she was not taught English alongside Norwegian... She learned English from the music she listened to with her grandmother. Oh And I suppose it shall piss you off to know that she's been learning some Japanese as well, or that she can play several instruments quite well. If You watch the face of the guitar player as he plays along side of Angelina you can see the bliss the glee in performing next to Angelina. How great of an honor to be this guitar player to be in awe in the face of GREATNESS!

Angelina's technique goes like this: she will take your heart out, make it a mush and give it back to you... her emotion on every word and her low register are something new to the music industry.

It's a beautiful song by Adele, the best singer of the last 10 years. But Angelina adds to it in a way Adele would approve, no doubt. We all agree that she sings it much better than Adele whom we will all love forever. It's head-grabbingly good.

Thank you for this very sincere reaction. I can empathize with your tears. I, too, am moved to tears in the presence of great beauty. I once stood in a gallery looking at a Velasquez painting through my tears. And I can't read poetry aloud without getting choked up. Yeah, the sound of Angelina's voice does that to a lot of us.

I love this girl. I have been checking out her performances since I saw her on AGT Champions. Not only does her angelic voice dig down into my heart, I also see that she is a true young lady in the way she presents herself. Norway must be very proud of this one. I also have this to say, and even though Angelina will probably never read these words, they are directly to her. Angelina, the world is facing a very uncertain 5 time, with the coronavirus threatening us all. When you teared up just reading the lyrics, I knew you were in for it when you heard her delivery of them. It's a rare thing when someone can make a cover better than the original... it is even rarer when it's a 12 year old... and it's a cover of Adele. But there it is. I wasn't familiar with this song until I heard hers. I have since listened to Adele sing it, and it's hands down win for the 12 year old IMO (as impossible as that seems) I like that you read and understand the lyrics before reacting. ...although the one word "evident" is actually "inevitable" ...I only know this because Angelina says "invetable". You listened to it twice... don't even try to guess how many times I have listened to it ;) Lots more to see on this journey my friend ;)

Rusty Shackleford - Oh my Gosh... This little girl is an Angel! I too can’t even fathom how many times, I have listened to this song!!! She did it to me as well = pulled at my heartstrings and touched my inner being with her voice and feeling. And oh my gosh: I too have to admit, this version of Angelina’s far surpasses the original, and wow that original is Adele = What? But that is Angelina, and I agree Wolf Rock, Once is not enough and just have to shed more tears.

I am also fascinated by her guitarist, so very talented and feels the music along with Angelina. I've followed Angelina from the beginning; her accompanying musicians are in a league of their own.

Very nice reaction. Yes, Angelina's singing brings the feelings. Angelina have written 3 songs herself: "Shield", "Oslo" and "What is life". And there is also another song written for Angelina called: "Song for A"

I have been a fan since she was seven and sang "Gloomy Sunday" by Billie Holliday (I mean what seven year old can sing that and knock it out of the park??) and have continued to listen to all of her covers plus her originals and, I think, this is my favorite cover. I've watched it at least 40 times and it can still bring me to tears.

ANGELina has an ability to connect to the soul of the song... and tap into a field that not even the author of the lyrics and the original singer was and still not able to do. The teacher comes in all sizes and forms.... sometimes it comes in the gift of an little 12 yr old angel from Norway, giving this song another lvl of understanding. (also taking into concideration, it's not her native language, and reading the text, and still able to give such a rendition) Music (sound) is truly one of the biggest gifts to humanity. Hey, Wolf Rock! At times, I ask myself: Is it what it is supposed to be? It is called the entertainment industry. Is it to be entertained when Angelina makes us cry most of the time? The way she sings most of her songs cuts deep through the heart all the way to the soul. We say that her best quality as a singer is her natural ability to convey emotions. Is it then entertainment to make us cry by singing emotional lyrics or is it musical psychotherapy? Both ways, i am hooked and she reels me in inevitably.

At my mom's memorial, my career law enforcement Commander brother-in-law read one of her short stories aloud. He loves the story, it's hilarious, but he doesn't possess the finesse to pull it off. I couldn't really describe how he read it until I heard how my 2nd cousin described it: "John read her story just like he was reading a police report!!!" 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣 No offense!!! 🤣 Type out the words if you must, but I vote for going straight into the song from now on. Thats why artists are artists, and we are just regular peeps. Great review by the way starting about 9:00. When i hear this song (I have only ever heard it sung by Angelina) i can always tell if the reactor had a beautiful relationship with their mother, which you obviously did. Hahaha ... Love the thumbnail ... got my tissues ready - now we can roll the tape :) The after comments: I'm afraid I might be lengthy in this comment, but I think this reaction is worth it. Unlike _I Put A Spell On You_ where the goosebumps hit you right in the face like a runaway train, this song raises your hairs gradually all the way through from start to finish, it's 4 minute cultivation of the best goosebumps You can ever experience. First of all, it's a nice touch to recite the lyrics before listening to the song, especially with ballad like this one. In a way the message is kinda simple (now wait before you yell at me). Almost everyone who's lived long enough to realize that they might have made a few mistakes in their life has this kind of feeling from time to time. It's not a _mid life crisis._ It's just an insight one gets that maybe one could have done things differently and maybe could have been nicer to some of the people they encountered through the years. *What makes this song so special* is the way this feeling is expressed in the lyrics. The choice of words and metaphors is brilliant - and the way it's been put together with different themes in the verses is easy to relate to and creates a full life story that it speak to us in a very special way when we pay attention to the lyrics. Secondly I must say a few words about Angelina's voice and the way she uses it in this song. If You listen attentively to the sounds she produces You can almost hear two or more voices at different pitch. Angelinas voice is so rich in natural harmonies and overtones and she has mastered the skill to alter the color of her voice, i.e. she can adjust which ones of these overtones should be dominant and that way she manages to alter the timber of her voice. I don't think this is a conscious activity where she thinks about the technical details, she just adjusting her voice from experience to suit the atmosphere she want's to create at each point in the song. To further enrich the performance she adds that effortless and hauntingly beautiful vibrato and uses a lot of dynamic variations. Lastly I'd also like to mention those crystal clear, almost whistling sounds she produces in the chorus, the knOw in "I know I'm not the only one". Sometimes I think she's got a glass harp in her throat. My third, and last point to discuss is her actual rendition of the song. Her well exercised vocal prowess allows her to be relaxed and focus on the emotional presentation of the song without worry about _how_ to do it. The technical side of her sining comes natural to her and she can devote her full attention to convey the emotions described in the lyrics. She's adjusting the phrasing and slows down the tempo on some of the words to give them more weight, then speeds up to "catch" the basic rhythm of the song on the less important words. To further emphasize some of the extra special words the reduces her voice to almost a whisper, which forces us to listen more closely to her song, and as a reward for our attention she gives us a more open and booming vowel right after. This creates a pulsating living organism within the song and helps her to pull us closer. Listening to this song is like geting _a warm embrace from someone safe_ (to use Angelinas own lyrics from "What Is Life"). Another technique she uses is to let some tones just fade away without notice, and we listen to the _memory_ of the tone. Every time I listen to this song, I start to wonder how much of this presentation of the song is deliberate and thought through or if she just runs by instinct and do all these things from within her soul. What ever the case might be, the end result is sensational. ooh .. there's one more thing I'd like to add. To accompany Angelina on this kind of songs isn't easy. You have to be very attentive to all the rhythm changes and dynamic variations to stay "in tune" with her emotionally. I saw a comment mentioned how she looks to her left to make sure she doesn't make any mistakes with the lyrics, notice also how often she glances to her right to communicate with the guitarist, and the way he's looking back at her, and the way they give subconscious signals to each other by nodding the head, swaying their bodies or sometimes just the flick of a finger. And speaking about the guitarist, hes name is *_Ivan Mendez_* and deserves some credit as well, even thought he's reward is inherent in Angelinas song - just look at how he glows and smiles at some of the ear candy she's giving him. Just imagine to sit that close and listen to Angelinas voice _in natura_

Congratulations,I have commented you before,and this analyzis of Angelina's singing is wonderful.I will just try to come with some additional analyzis or information if you will.Yesterday after listening to one of her songs,I found a link to a video with an author and I think she filled in some of the missing link in our understanding of why Angelina can sing with so much emotion and bring that emotion to us,the listeners. She was talking of a well developed throat chakra,and that was the reason why people can sing in this way.She was giving a link to an example Stone cold with Daniela T(I'll not sure of her name,but it is a girl from Kazakhstan,and I think the same thing is at work here.

Could well be the best Angelina reaction ever. She does this flawlessly and effortlessly. That is what she does. Can't wait for you to see the complete picture on her. Please watch some of her rehearsal videos, in particular at the growth awards. At eight years old she is rehearsing At Last and My Funny Valentine and then she preforms At Last - by Eta James -and a more beautiful sight you have never seen.

Angelina is a little mermaid that submerges our souls to the deepest of the sea, it is impossible to be indifferent to her voice, angelic, ipnotic, irresistible. Since the first time I heard it in the Norwegian contest I have been tied to its songs. We all know that sooner or later she will be someone very special in the world. For me, children feel emotions as strongly as adults but usually lack ways of expressing it. This child has learned a way, partly by being obsessed with it almost her entire life (she says since she was 1 1/2). The chuckle at the end is a reminder not to forget the rest of the story. When I heard this song from Angelina the first time she floored me and I was hooked, she hit me like a grenade went off, still after two years I get choked up, see you react the same way is almost to much.... not happened too me since Elvis entered my world. I´m contend now, thank you creator.

Her voice and arraignments are ... words fail. But her emotional content is transcendent. I've not heard anything like what she does with that part of me, my 'soul" my 'heart'. It's joyous, it's soothing and it hurts. I don't know...
