Angelina sang this classic in a way to let everyone in the world know how an imprisoned woman in Iran and her family (husband and twin children, a boy and a girl) endure the pain of being separated because of her stand for the rights of women and the oppression of women in general. The Nobel Peace Prize Committee chose to honor Narges Mohammadi for her efforts and by giving her the award she will never be forgotten. Angelina's grandmother is Iranian so she had a personal interest in the event. Thanks for a very nice reaction with lots of kind words.

Great reaction. Award of the the Nobel Peace prize to an Iranian women fighting for women's rights who is in prison in Iran. Her children were in the audience and Angelina was there for them. Her grandmother is a famous Iranian Artist. She had this 78 year old man in tears listening to her singing.

Unchained Melody (AJ, at the age of 17 performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony December 2023 in Oslo, Norway.)I watched as Angelina Jordan stepped onto the stage, her presence commanding attention. The room hushed, anticipation hanging in the air like a delicate thread. She stood there, a young girl with an old soul, ready to weave magic with her voice. As the first notes of "Unchained Melody" filled the room, time seemed to slow. Angelina's voice wrapped around each word, infusing them with a depth that transcended mere lyrics. It was as though the song had been written for her, and her alone. The audience held its breath as she sang. Her voice soared, reaching heights that touched the heavens. The pain and longing in her eyes mirrored the emotions in the song-the heartache, the yearning. It was more than a performance; it was a revelation. The chorus came, and Angelina's voice swelled, filling every corner of the room. " Oh, my love, my darling I've hungered, hungered for your touch," she sang, and suddenly, we all did. The magic in her performance was like nothing we had ever experienced in our lives. The lyrics came alive and had meaning as they flowed through us. In that moment, Angelina Jordan became a vessel for something greater-an embodiment of love itself. Her voice carried us beyond our own pain and loneliness. We felt connected-to her, to each other, to something intangible yet profound. As she held that final note, time snapped back into place. The applause erupted-a thunderous acknowledgment of what we had just witnessed. But it wasn't just applause; it was gratitude-for allowing us to glimpse love through Angelina's eyes. And so, we stood there, hearts full, tears in our eyes. Angelina Jordan had given us something rare-a reminder that love exists even in our brokenness. And for those few minutes, we believed it with every fiber of our being. ©

In 2014, a little Norwegian girl was named and codified, a national treasure by both the King of Norway and the prime Minister. That same year, she sang for the Nobel peace prize winners all at the age of 8. In 2023, that same girl, now almost 18 once again graced the Nobel peace prize stage and sang for the recipient once again. That young girl is none other than Angelina Jordan. Angelina Jordan made history with this performance. Angelina is the only solo singer under the age of 18 to have performed twice at the Nobel peace prize concert. When I learned the story of Narges Mohammadi, this years recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, and the history of the song "Unchained Melody", I fully understood why Angelina Jordan chose this song. P.S.: Angelina arranged the music and vocals for this performance. She thanked the director of KORK publicly for allowing her to do this. Angelina Jordan is the finest musical instrument on the planet. When it comes to musical talent, none can compare to Angelina Jordan. She is not just a singer, but a musical instrument herself. Her voice is capable of producing the most exquisite hypnotic sounds, from the softest whispers to the most powerful belts. She can sing in any genre, any language, any mood. She can improvise, harmonize, and mesmerize. She is the finest musical instrument on the planet, and we are so lucky to be in this time and place to hear her perform. ©

This is the Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony in Oslo, Norway. This is the 2nd time she has performed at this event, 1st when she was 8, right after she won NGT, & then this at 17. The prize winner is Narges Mohammadi, a woman's rights advocate in Iran who has been jailed several times & is currently in jail conducting a hunger strike. The prize is being accepted by Narges' twin daughter & son that are the same age as Angelina & they haven't seen their mother in over 9 years, since they live in exile in France. Angelina's grandma Mery is Iranian, so Angelina is a quarter Iranian & this hits her & her family very hard. Angelina chose this song, Unchained Melody, because it's about a man who is unjustly imprisoned & longs to be with his family. She made this soft, delicate, emotional version to fit the solemn occasion. We all know she could have belted this out like so many others have, but instead she "killed" it softly. Also, the KORK Orchestra was amazing, as usual.

This was the most perfect tribute to Narges Mohammadi winner of the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize for her fight for women’s rights in Iran. She is currently in prison for doing so and her 17 year old twin children received the prize on her behalf. The song was originally written for the film Chained and is about prisoners wanting to escape to be with their loved ones and then always be on the run, or stay where they are and do their time.

Kevin, sir, this was the NOBEL PEACE PRICE Concert in Oslo. Every year a mostly independent gremium decides who this prize goes to. The NOBEL Prizes (5 categories) are the HIGHEST praise a human can get. Independent of religion, scin color, nationality. This prize was given to the 17 year old twins of the lureat, as she is incarcerated in Iran by the Mullas for asking for equal right for all. Sung be AJ, whos grandmother also had to flee from Iran. The song is about a imprisoned man longing for his loved ones. AJ is the only human that was invited twice under the age of 18 years old. Sir, be blessed, healthy and happy. Elmar from German

Angelina inspires me to do what I can to help make the world a better place, so I am asking all angels and others to spread the story of Narges Mohammadi. Angelina was recorded here in December 2023 at the Nobel Peace prize ceremony in Oslo Norway, performing this beautiful version of Unchained Melody. She paid tribute to Narges, who is currently on a hunger strike while imprisoned in Iran, for being an activist for women's rights. Her two twin children, who are 17, spoke on her behalf at this event. The more people who are aware and call for change, the more likely the leaders of Iran will set her free. Acts of kindness are inspirational, as Angelina always reminds us. We angels, and all others must honor Angelina, and those who represent our values, by doing all we can to help, and be kind to others. Even the smallest gestures can make a difference. If you have not already done so, please provide artist links to the official channels, social media and even links to Spotify and iTunes, as many reactors have done. Most importantly, encourage your viewers to use those links the same way as you do for your own channel. That will help ensure her success and spreading peace and love to the world.

Yes, it was used in the 1990 movie "Ghost"! To be exact the sound track from The Righteous Brother's cover of the song which they recorded in 1965 was used in the movie! The song was originally written in 1955 for the movie "Unchained" about a man unjustly imprisoned! It was originally sung in that movie by Todd Duncan! It has been covered many, many times by hundreds of artists over the last (almost) 70 years! Many people seem to feel that the song should only be sung by a man since it was a man who was unjustly imprisoned in the original movie as if no women have ever been unjustly imprisoned! In my opinion no better song could have been picked by Angelina for this tribute to Narges Mohammadi since she is unjustly imprisoned for protesting for women's rights in a country where women have NO rights!!!
