She is a born performer and she has honed her craft for at least the last 10 years .love to listen to her

After the release of her new EP, I stopped trying to compare her to other artists. I don't pick favorite song either.She can sound any way she wishes, always in the interests of the meaning of the song. Her lyrics are brilliant and speak to my heart.I now just look forward to any new creation from this artist and know it will warm and enrich my life. Each song adds to the story she is telling. A new Dylan? Elvis? Winehouse, Adelle,Billie, Ella .... Maybe all of the above and more.❤

The entire EP his her statement she is strong and here to stay. ❤

The melody transports you to that era she's representing and her vocals with those lyrics so poetic and tasteful. I could listen to this song on replay. Thank you for your reaction, can't wait to see you react to the rest of her EP.

the arrangement of all 6 songs are incredible including intros and outros...her lyrics are really fresh. angelina said she chose these 6 from about a 100 love songs she has written...from the beginning angelina told her mother she wanted to spread love with her music and that love is everything...at 5 she had a philosophy and mission...angelina co-wrote all 6 and even helped produce...BTW republic records built her a studio...

Jacqueline, her expressive performances in her videos adds so much to the song, Imo. Unfortunately, the remaining 4 songs on the EP don't have videos yet, just audio only visualizers. You should cover this song since you like it so much. For all the reasons you stated, it's a really great song. Can't wait for you to hear the rest.

Going to repeat this .. was posted in the chat. That was maternal Grandmother Mery, generally acknowledged as Angelina's muse. A prodigy in her own right in painting and poetry. Mery is Iranian by birth who married a Japanese man which is where Angelina get's her 1/4 Japanese ancestry .. and Iranian. It was Mery who introduced Angelina to jazz and blues and who her daughter Sara says Angelina got her talent. Sara's full name is Sara Astar .. which means that Angelina's full name is Angelina Jordan Astar .. A Star .. get it? :)

This is the first song of her new wonderful EP (with other fantasic 5 songs) published in July, is an amazing song, in her personal pop-jazz and it's so personal to Angelina, in full you see her style, her voice, her vibe, her elegance, her passion, her family, her wonderful empathy and creativity (the wonderful lyrics... and her so loved granny!). Which other singers at the public launch of their first album for an international label, insert their grandmother in the video? Family and respect remain an indissoluble idea for Angelina, she is a unique soul, old and new at the same time and wonderful and this song is absolutely mesmerizing. I love her fantastic ability to mix old and new in music, is another of her amazing features.💛🧡❤

Haven't heard an accumulation of songs in an album like presentation on this level of excellence since Amy's Grammy winning album 'Back To Black. Both artists display lyrics that are 'deep' and 'profound', with Amy staying in the 'Jazz/ R&B' lane, whereas Angelina ventures past that into an extravaganza of multi-genre presentations that boggle the mind.

this is an original her new ep all originals i can't decide which is the best song the whole ep is such a masterpiece and so well written by her i can only say she is outstanding and by far the best singer on this one decade or century and Diamond is an even bigger surprise I have never seen an EP contain only number 1 songs in my entire life each of the 6 songs is a hit and grammy worthy I hope Republic Records finally gets the promo engine going and they im Radio and TV is played only KZread is not enough. The crazy thing is that she said that the EP with 6 songs is a small selection from over 100 songs that she has already written, that gives hope for the future that we will be surprised with more beautiful songs

The beautiful thing about writing a lot of songs is knowing you'll write a lot of ok and even shitty songs but the "diamonds" come out in btw those. Smart move to do it that way vs settling for "ok" songs to be released just to release music. She's brilliant and I'm excited to not only hear the rest of her EP but what's next. And yes, hopefully the label will push her and treat her like the talented and deserving artist she is.

Great reaction and super analysis Jacqueline ! Angelina looks like a superstar and always sounded much older and mature than her age ! But now at 17 she looks even older and definitely has a vintage, nostalgic and unique voice as compared to today's singers ! I totally agree the song is quite simple with verse, pre chorus and chorus with a minimal backing track ! This works in Angelina's favor because her voice and storytelling abilities shine through ! The lyrics are so relatable and with the catchy vibe of the song are easy to remember and sing along to ! It's so heartwarming to see her bring her grandmother into the video ! Her grandmother Mery is the heart and soul behind Angelina's inherent love of jazz and music ! She has been there as a mentor since the beginning ! Family is everything to Angelina and that's why she is the beautiful person she is ! So well grounded and knowing who she is as a singer ! Hi Jacqueline 👋. Great reaction and nice little analysis of Angelina. I love this song and Good in goodbye and Fire and rain the most. Yes I do like Diamond, in fact they're all nice. Angie said she wrote this about LOVE itself and not about being in love but her talking to LOVE itself. Deep lyrics for a 17 yr old. The car is a mid 1950s Porsche 356 speedster and her outfit and hair are mid 1960s and the song is like a retro pop or what she calls her Jazzy pop. Ok so I am reacting to your reaction. I absolutely learned this song within a couple of listens to the song but I thought how crazy it was that both you and I just started grooving on our chairs 😊 she's got that beat. It's strong, powerful and yet purely vulnerable. As you explore her Old Enough songs you will witness confidence in what she wants to share with us. I love them all with the exception of parts of Fire and Rain (only because of my personal taste of course). Looking forward to hearing your next reaction 🎉

My favourites on her EP are this one and Now I'm The Fool.They are exactly the style I imagined Angelina would move toward, and to me they are simply outstanding songs and her performances, as always, make me smile and tear up at the same time. I just love her so much.

Angelina, not only are you among the greatest singers in the music business, but you are also one of the greatest lyricists in the business. After about 3 weeks of listening to these songs I’ve decided to re-evaluate all the songs, as a result of my reevaluation the list has not changed. All of the songs on the EP could be number one. The first thing that I’ll make clear is that this is my opinion and as time goes on I may change my mind, but here goes. The top of my list is ‘Diamond’ - kzread.info/dash/bejne/o4We2qOEcau5l9Y.html - this is a very powerful statement about the real start of her career.- she seems to be saying that the past is gone and this is my future. Next is ‘Fire And Rain’ - kzread.info/dash/bejne/Zaea2dCsaNqcl7A.html - in this song she is saying that she is strong enough to face the future, and as long as the Angels stay by her side she will grow stronger and stronger. . Next is ‘Good In Goodbyes’ - kzread.info/dash/bejne/rK19rMmufJTAeJs.html - this is a recovery song. There has been a bad relationship, but she has learned from it and it has made her stronger. The symbolism in these lyrics are almost as good as in ‘Love Don’t Let Me Go’. Next is ‘Now I’m The Fool’ - kzread.info/dash/bejne/anaMpbiSj5C4nbg.html - this is a very sophisticated look at someone being jilted. I hope it wasn’t Angelina. She is so good at expressing the emotions of others that I don’t think it was her, however, the end of the song is so powerful it may make you reconsider. This is an apology for a love gone wrong, and she is asking for another try. The major comment for all the songs is that they are all great. She not only has one of the greatest voices, her lyrics are sophisticated and impactful. Her previous covers and originals are excellent beyond belief, but they don’t approach the quality of any of the songs on this EP. The songs that come the closest to this EP are ‘You Say’ and ‘Million Miles’. I want to make clear that the above comments and evaluations are my interpretations of her lyrics. I want to reiterate that in my opinion Angelina and her songwriting team are among the best in the industry.

Not that I don't like the song, Cause I do... But if you were to separate songs into two groups. One being "More liked by Males", and the other being "More liked by Females"... I think this one "Generally" is more up the Feminine aisle. Obviously there is a large spectrum of both Males and Females and others out there. But Yeah that my general thought on it.. I'm a Good and Goodbyes number 1 kinda guy... and diamonds is like 4th or 5th best on the album. But all the songs are fabulous. So WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN and WIN.
