I cry when she sings. The best I ever heard!

We're all so blown away by the performance we haven't noticed how beautiful the visuals are. The lighting is amazing. A bright lamp in the background yet light enough to see Angelina clearly. The colour balance is soft and delicate. The framing is perfect. This has the intimacy that matches perfectly her incredible performance.

I hope one day when they lay me to rest my granddaughters will recall me as she has done with her grandfather OMG I AM CRYING MY HEART IS BROKEN WITH AND FOR HEF. God Bless you ANGELINA JORDAN! May your grandfather #RIP

Thank you for this reaction to Angelina Jordan. She did this video in short time after her grandfather passed away. Angelina brings tear to my eyes everytime i hear this video. Angelina and her grandfather was very close and she are so brave to put this out and show how much her grandfather meant to her.

Consider ourselves lucky to have her in our lifetime. Some generations will never have someone like her in their time. She's music personified.

I believe Angelina considers the whole world her family. I'm grateful she cared enough to share this vulnerable moment with us.

I don't know about the whole world, but I do think that she considers her dedicated fans as "family". And she rewards us by letting us participate in the ups and downs of her life. I don't know of another artist that does that. Just makes us love her even more!

Angelina always brings a lot of emotion to her songs, but this one always hits a little harder. It also really shows how Angelina is not afraid to show her vulnerability to the world. Many artists would not publish a video as personal as this one, but Angelina is not like other artists. She allows us to see and follow her journey every step of the way. It doesn't have to be polished and perfect... that's what makes her so authentic, and it is what keeps us all so connected to her. She makes her fans feel like they have been in her house listening to her while she sits on the couch singing her favorite songs. It's not just her voice that draws us in... it's her entire character. She has such a beautiful soul.

I totally agree. Openness brings a lot of joy. But it makes you vulnerable. I wonder how she behaves when she is attacked. My problem is that I can hardly say no and every now and then I am getting abused. She as a wealthy superstar will have it way harder. Sharks will try to get their piece of a bite. I hope for her, that she is strong, can defend herself and does not break.

As a grandfather every time I listen to this I let the tears flow. Thanks for your outstanding reaction. She is indeed one of a kind.

Every time I watch this video I have to swallow a lump in my throat and wipe my eyes. It pains me to see Angelina so sad. An angel on earth singing to an angel in heaven.

I have always believed that singing a cappella was an extraordinarily difficult thing to do. I have noticed that Angelina begins many of her covers in this fashion and I've not heard anyone speak to this who is more knowledgeable. I find it an incredible trademark of her style, and it just highlights the control she has over her pitch. May fortune protect this young girl so that we may continue to accompany her on her journey.

This is a perfect example of Angelina's soul. Her grandad passed away and what could be, in her mind, the best tribute she could think of? Singing! A heartfelt, pitch perfect, emotional performance until she broke down. I can't even believe how intent she was to sing the whole song or almost, as a sign of love for her grandad. She's undoubtedly one in a million and not only because of her voice and sense of musicality but because she has a bright, luminous soul. Debra Morrison my condolences to you I lost my mom in 2016 and somehow listening to her sing this song and seeing her cry I actually cried because I missed my mom terribly😭😭😭😭

This one is a toughie to get through watching Angelina's little heart breaking and making all of us well up tears. I agree that she owned great courage to make this video and post it to YT. But AJ has always had an unmitigated trusting attachment to the viewers on YT ever since she began exploring classic jazz on an IPad as a toddler. She also puts out the soul of her music unapologetically and without fear of criticism or displeasure. Such innocence and trust to share her moment of extreme grief with the world. Lessons learned from AJ.

When you feel a song like she does here, it is hard to imagine that you can focus also on your breath control. To go so low, then higher on the same breath is quite amazing since your heart can play tricks on you. That is what happens at the end: her soul jumped in and blocked sooner her final breath. Death is everywhere in her life and in her vocal art, since her first songs, as a theme, as dedications, as tributes, and as her personal ennemy. And she is too young to win the fight alone.
