Before she sang Bang Bang, Omer Bhatti saw her instructing the guitarist how she wanted him to play it.

She waited around all day. This was the last audition of the night. Then later we can see her in a big meeting , all the adults are discussing her. She's a little girl fidgeting but obviously listening, in a pause she pipes up and suggests exactly how the accompanist should come in. That's when they decided she wasn't too young for the competition. Let's face it...the more you see her perform the more you realise the Angels do not exaggerate.

Aged 7 for her 1st audition gloomy Sunday what followed was aged 8 .

If you want to see some thing that went viral, you need to watch her rendition of I put a spell on you.

The first performance was her audition. Second audition was with No music and that was the judges cuts show. During the first two auditions she was 7 years old . By the time the show started airing live she had turned 8 . If you can find the video, she was in a room with the trumpet player and another guy and whoever was filming, practicing her final performance. The trumpet player was not giving her the lead in to the song as she wanted. The first sound from the trumpet in her performance came from Angelina’s mouth, she made the sound in practice so he could copy it.

Well she was on AGT champions at age 13. Videos with her performance of Bohemian Rhapsody garnered more than 100 million views. It was a huge viral wave. Even Queen took note and twittered "Wow, what a performance".

Thanks for your reaction! She is only 17 years old today and from Norway. She signed with the label Republic Records just 14 years old, I think we can safely leave the promotion to Republic Record. Marketing will start when her full album is released later this year. There's only one EP with 6 songs she's released from RR now, and they haven't started marketing until the full album is released!. Republic Records know 100% what they are doing? I think a lot of people don't realize how much Angelina has done in her short life (17). She performed FIFA AWARD song, and performed in front of 40 000 people only 11 years old invited by Norah Jones. She was also specially invited by Quincy Jones to perform on his 85th birthday in the O2 arena / London. And so on goes the list... She has over 250 songs on KZread with cover songs and many originals. Angelina also plays piano and guitar. The truth is that within a year or two she will be the artist for the big occasions. and not a "bare belly plastic artist" who tops a list for a week and is forgotten just as quickly. She already eats most female vocalists for breakfast, and the label Republic Records and the rest of the music industry know that too! Angelina Jordan has nothing to prove. When she sometimes belts is it because the fits in the performances. She sings to us only she can do! Angelina recently had a sold-out concert in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where there was an audience from 9 different country all the way from Australia and from 39 different states in the USA.

You understand Angelina very well already. She is the only one who decides what she will sing and yes, she dearly loves jazz. Her mom, Sara, said that she tried to get her to sing "kid" songs, but Angie refused. There is a funny video of her (about 5) at a school Christmas show. The kids are singing and the camera panned toward Angelina....she looked straight at it and shook her head .. no. AJ absolutely has the "it factor". It may be hard to believe but she improved in every way by the age of 10. There are so many outstanding performances at 10, and then she just keeps improving.

There is a version on KZread with Closed Captions, and you really should watch it so you know just what praise the judges gave her.

When she won there were 10 finalists. She got 46% of the votes... Meaning the rest 9 finalists got 54% between all of them... She won by a mile!

It was I believe all kids for the second-round elimination... but not the other rounds ( I can't explain more but perhaps someone can !): the child singers all had to perform either acapella or accompanying themselves on an instrument: Angelina's acapella "I'm a Fool" is just astonishing. During "Summertime", where you ask "Did she just countdown" - what she actually did was sing Louis Armstrong's line from his duet of the song with Ella Fitzgerald: "Don't you say no..." Angelina clearly based her version on that duet - and yes that was the last round which led to her winning over all, with about 45% of all the votes... She's incredible: indeed a GOAT.

The first audition, televised, performers get a yes or no. The second audition, the group onstage, performers were eliminated to 'fit'' numbers to the broadcast schedule. That's my understanding.

Actually they offered Angelina a contract from shy and her uncle Micheal turned it down that’s why she wasn’t chosen that’s the only reason. If Micheal would have said yes, Angie would have been aft champ. FACTS. I’m so glad Micheal wouldn’t let aft take over ANGELINA’s career. ❤

I think when you asked is she counting down, it is a breath technique she used. There is vid out there where she is interviewed at a young age and she "teaches" the interviewer how to sing and she takes quick, short little inhale exhale breaths. NO at 15:57 she DID NOT do a countdown!! She in fact sang the adlib type of vocal lines of Louis Armstrong, which most people haven't even realized existing in the original version (for example at 4:23 on KZread video Ella Fitzgerald: Summertime). She is THAT amazing!!!!

​@@CarlD70I don't think she needs timing tricks after all she is able to stay in a perfect rhythm even without music. Her a cappella performances have proven that.

As good as this is ( and it's very good) I suggest you watch some of Angelina when she is 10 singing with Engel ( probably got that name wrong) or 12 with Ivan (both guitarists). Many of these are eyewatering good (Stay, Million Years Ago, How Great Thou Art, California Dreaming, Titanium etc, etc). Then move on to AGT when she is 13. Many Angels think her 10 to 12 years are amongst her best. Very nice reaction, thank you.

Thanks for this. I never get tired of these performances. There are mash-ups on KZread interchanging her and Billie Holiday and Angelina nails, not only the song, but Billie Holiday's version. I want her to release an album where she chooses modern songs and sings the so you think Billie Holiday came back to life. English is her second language.

Late but l really enjoyed your reaction. Thank you. A few fans have put her acapella performance of I'm a Fool to Want You against a track of that song. There is no doubt it was playing in her head. Also a side by side comparison with Billie Holiday. Very close but even at eight AJ added her own nuances. See also in her audition that her mom was crying. Said later she knew at that moment she had to share her little daughter with the world.

At the end when they announce her winning, the woman holding up the Louis Armstrong poster is her Grandma Mery....her biggest influence for her love of old time Jazz and blues. They briefly showed her father as well in the audience. She won around $47,000 USD and donated the majority of the winnings to children's charities.....this who she was even at this age...a kind, humble, caring , sweet and classy young women....and still is at age 17 now.
