When you have talents galore and a precious gift as your purpose in life, it is only through dedication, determination, love and passion that you will be allowed to achieve greatness and fame. Not trying slight Egil but I prefer the Ivan covers because the sound quality is better. Egil’s guitar was often overpowering in the videos he played on.

I cry every time I listen to her performance of this song.

Angelina's low register is impressive. Most singers when they go low they end just talking. Angelina even puts vibrato on her low register. Just toying with our feelings :)

@@peterhormell1511 She very well might be. Her voice is very recognizable, and I truly believe the world has never seen a prodigy like Angelina, with her deep understanding of music since she was 7. With proper care and development, she very well might rise to be the voice on everyones lips for this century. Its hard to compare, but so far I think she is on schedule to make this true.

I've watched this reaction MANY times, and the Forrest Gump comment "box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get" 😂! For me, there's a few things I can rely on, I'll want to cry, I'll marvel at her interpretation, and anxiously wait for the end when she flips a switch, gives a huge Smile, with her "Bye!!!". I am of the opinion that the English language sorely lacks words that can properly and effectively describe what Angelina does, sings, feels, and ever so successfully maneuvers her way through the emotion of regret,, without shedding a tear, her voice sounds like she's crying ... I love to ser Ivan's face and the emotions he is showing ! He said in an interview how difficult it was to concentrate when he was playing because he was listening to her beautiful voice and playing at the same time. When he was asked to come, there was never a plan on what they will play. Usually it was in one take . Sometimes they had to do it twice because he made a mistake ! I love all the songs they played together ❤

The reason you can't describe the way she sings music, is because she doesn't sing music. She is music. Music comes to her so it can be given the delivery it deserves. I never disrespect the artists that Angelina covers, but most of them never enter into your heart like Angelina does.I don't think that everyone that reacts to Angelina gets full enjoyment of her.There are many that like her, and the there are the "angels" which I am one, that not on;y do I like the sound of her singing, but she connects to my heart, and actually delivers love to me in song. I know I'm not the only one. There many. If you aren't one, I am so sorry. For a lot of us Angelina is a gift from God, and she actually changes our lives.

All of her performances are enticing, pulling in our whole attention, and dispensing emotions like candy. In many ways she's like a fisherman and we the hungry fish, craving that pared down, pure talent.

If I had heard this song for the first time, as sung by Angelina, I would swear that she wrote it herself about a deep personal experience... Especially the lyric about missing her mother Miss Luanne. I am also amazed that she can be so deep into the feeling of a song and then, in less than a second, morph back into the happy smiling 11-13 year old girl, wave and say goodbye. She can really focus.

I have always been of the opinion that Angelina annotates her lyrics. She is most likely reading more than the words... she is reading the timing and inflection of what she is singing. IMHO. 😉😬👍

If you haven’t done Angelina Jordan’s cover of Adele’s “All I Ask” you should.

Jut to put this into context. The guitarist (Ivan Mendez) basically dropped by after work (still in his work 'outfit'), no practice beforehand, he was just given a few songs to play (that he had never heard before himself), and 12-year old Angelina probably just enough time to remember the lyrics. So this was more a jam session at Angelina's family home in LA, but however, good enough to produce a world class recording, topping Adele's vocals..... who is still doubting that she is the generational talent ?

Check out her original a Million Miles or 7th Heaven she is the total package. The best for years to come no doubt in my mind.

When she switched octave she changed the emotion from regret to anguished, both of which she delivers gently.

She ls such a lovely and beautiful young lady .I'm in my 70s an find she is such a joy to listen to .She puts so much passion into her songs her parents would have to be so proud of her ,not just for her talent but also for how well grounded humbled and polite she is .I just love to listen to her every song she sings is so wonderful ,I'm a very big Angelina fan .😄😄😄💓💙💙💙

It's tough to contemplate where this immense talent came from. It's like she was born to do this exclusively, except she also brings to it a generous, giving heart and feeling for the poor people of the world. What humility and almost saintly outlook she has. I think the whole world will adore her.

Sometimes we have to face reality. I am 79 year old manwith failing health. I have listened to music since 1942 laying in a crib as a baby just born. I remember all the World War II songs from the radio. Singers both men and woman. Big Bands of the 40’s. There was no Television, just the radio and vinyl records. Music into all later decades. There has never been and probably never will be another vocalist who can do what Angelina does across the genres she has covered. Yes there may be those who can hit higher notes and may be technically superior in some areas, but none will pass her abilities to emote feelings and emotions. The resonance vibrations and harmonics are far superior to any singer living or dead. She is the greatest of all times. Opinion? I don’t think so. After consideration of many if not most of current and past singers and considering changes in technology. I have spent the last year going back through the works of over 130 vocalists and I found Angelina to be superior over multiple songs. This look back did not include stage performances of entertainers or Rock or rock stars just vocalists. Can someone point to an artist in multiple categories or genres that can cover the ground she has covered. Also I believe she is beginning to create her own genre. Just the thoughts of an old man who has a few hundred thousand listens throughout his life.

Similar experiences, Bill. I'm five years older, but I experienced first hand much of the music of the forties and fifties (and beyond) that Angelina has brought back to life. I'm hoping to hang on so I can see her realize everything she deserves and aspires to.

I feel emotional every time I hear her sing this song. She brings me on her journey!

Its like she wakes up in the morning and says to herself, I feel bluesy, I am going to sing some Adele. She knocks it out of the park then smiles like it is just a vocal exercise and goes on about being a 13 year old girl. I cry at every performance and I am a 71 year old man.

In an interview Angelina once said she goes to another world when she sings.

Yes - SUPERB! She can at a octave change make this 68 year old man's eyes LEAK! She is one of those "Once in a lifetime" performers. Not much more i can say, i lack the vocabulary to describe her talent! - Yes Sir! #SUPERB! From Texas

I've heard most of her stuff and to be fair not everything she does is amazing. Maybe 70% is amazing. Then another 5% good to great. The remaining 25%? Beyond belief.

No matter what she comes up with, or has done before, this performance will always remain in everyone's top ten of Angelina's songs. No question.

Her tone is so good. Even her breathes feel like notes and belong there. Floats on a breeze.

That melody was borrowed from ''Suicide is Painless", the theme from MASH, or from ''Yesterday When I Was Young" by Roy Clark. She is the best singer anywhere.
