Truly a phenomenal performance. But what blows me away is that she's clearly reading the words and is not that familiar with the song and is STILL able to convey this amazing level of emotion and feeling. It is like she is a channel for the deep meaning in the lyrics which seems impossible for a 12 year old. Mesmerizing is the right word.

@@beewilson922 you're thinking of Million Miles which Angelina wrote and sang later. A Million Years Ago is an Adele song. Angelina wouldn't be reading the words to her own song.

I agree Totally Alex. This is my favorite performance of hers Ive heard . When I first hear adele sing it on the news when she released it I got goose bumps. But a twelve YO Angelina takes it to a whole other level ! Plain Raw Talent. The best singer I ever heard no matter what age. The emotion of her interpitation is out of this world.

This is one of her best covers in my opinion. "Stay" (by Rihanna) is at the same level. But she has excellent covers quite a lot. Some other covers are very good in a different way than this one. This one and "Stay" are very emotional covers.

Angelina’s elite master class talent and Super Nova DNA is front and center in her debut album that was released last night.

It's impossible for anyone to sing this song with the emotion laden penetration that she applies to it. And let us realize this was a 'jam session' at home where neither she or her guitarist friend were fully familiar with the song. He just follows her lead and she, while reading lyrics off a tablet at her side, rearranges it 'on the fly' to a level where not even Adele's original can match.

She brings so much emotions to this song and it's a first time singing it while reading the text as they go. Just mindblowing!!

Add a contact for me emotion of mercury, but I lost my mother I lost. My father is emotional for me and bring back to remember that I had all those years longer to live with my mom and dad. I came back military they both got sick and they died so I miss him a spot in the mission. That’s all connected this song.

Melancholic, regretful; look at Ivan playing his guitar, he’s blown away by her performance - just like most of us. Adele is a terrific songwriter, but she is not on a par with Angelina singing this, or any other song imo. Angelina always manages to put more emotion into anything she sings. Never knew a singer with her capability of transmitting emotions to the listener. There is a whole world of music in that little girl’s soul, and a whole orchestra in her brain, and an ocean of love of life in her heart! Wonderful reaction again, Alex! My favourite? I can’t, I just can’t.

For me, this song stands apart from Angelina’s other great covers. It’s a truly beautiful song from Adele. When Adele sings it, we feel her pain-when Angelina sings it, we understand how the lyrics apply to each of us. We hear Adele’s version, but we feel Angelina’s version. Acoustic Angelina, backed by Ivan on guitar, singing melancholy lyrics is devastating. And she’s reading off the lyrics. It’s not even a perfect performance, but it’s completely mesmerizing. I don’t think it’s possible to pick a favorite Angelina song. This one is near the top, but Bohemian Rhapsody? Yellow Brick Road? I Put a Spell on You? Bang Bang? And a dozen more…

Ivan, the guitarist, was so drawn into her vocal that he had a hard time keeping it together! Also, you see that her face is illuminated by the screen of her computer - she is reading the lyrics as she is not so familiar with the song! The melancholy that she expresses is not an act, she is living in the moment, letting her emotions flow freely...

Ivan Mendez was Angelina's (12y) guitarist in LA in 2018. In an interview with Alan Papier on his KZread channel, Ivan told the story of how the cover's came about. In a nutshell "Angelina doesn't have a wish list of songs, she decides spontaneously if she likes a song. After hearing a song she says great song and has downloaded the lyrics. OK, well, let's start ". Then the cover was recorded in one take, Angelina sang the song here for the first time after her arrangement without rehearsing beforehand. 💯 *AJ* 💯

Yes, Angelina really feels this song, probably relating the story to episodes in her own life ( as we all do), at just12 years old she has experienced many aspects of life. She just doesn't sound mature, she really is! She had already published her first book and written a song "What is Life?" She had persuaded her family to move to LA. That's a lot to handle!

You ask about the favourite song? That is an impossible question, though if I had to make a choice, as I feel right now, it would be Million Miles. During the pandemic this song was a kind of therapy, that helped me though some difficult times. I was fortunate enough to hear her sing this live, at her concert in Norway, on 10th July 2022. She slowed the song down and added even more emotion! The whole concert was uplifting, full of incredible performances, intimate conversation with the audience and all the fans rejoicing together like one big family! Tomorrow the EP Old Enough comes out, you never know, there might be a new favourite!

We adore her and everything she does is fantastic. Understanding that to be true this performance goes to the next level if that is possible. She totally absorbs the message of any song she sings and delivers it to us with the spirit of a storyteller which keeps us spellbound throughout. Only Angelina.......wow.

The plaintive pain of loss and regret she sings so well reminds me of Fado.

Most of Angelina's songs are among my favorites. But with this one, and her cover of It's A Mans World, you don't even need hearing to understand that something unique is happening. Just look at the expression on the guitarist's face (or the conductor in It's A Man's World) and it's obvious.

What's your favorite song? That's pretty much impossible! lol I have tried to introduce her to people and I never know where to start! Even coming up with 10 vids I always feel I am leaving so much out. She doesn't even have an average song. So many different songs, genres, etc that I would have never thought I would like, I do now. It's the voice and emotion.

My favorite till now is Angelina's composition about the town she is born: Oslo. But than, it is relative because I like almost every song Angelina has done so far, orginals and covers alike.

This is an exceptional cover which most angels have in their top "ten" (but our top ten usually has 30-80 songs). I do have a top 3 which have remained steadfast since January 2020, but they have faced strong competition. Number 1 remains AGT "Bohemian Rhapsody". Number 2 remains NGT "Summertime", and number 3 remains "I Put a Spell On You". This one, with at least 30-50 others is/are my number 4. Whatever the right word is, Angelina just makes each song more powerfully emotive. She pierces your very being. I guarantee you will find a new "favorite" very soon. I like what you do. I have a similar number in my "top ten".... I have taken to saying "my favourite-favourite" or the made-up "favouritest" but I use that so often it isn't very selective... I guess if I had to pick a #1 (and that is impossible really) it would be "What a difference a day makes" as, when her voice comes in over the backing singers it always gives such a frisson... But then IPASOY is there at the top too, and if I think too much I would add more and more...

This, too, is near the top of my favorite songs from Angelina. The word I would have chosen is “depth.” The best way for me to describe her uncanny abilities is that she takes a song, written and generally performed in two dimensions, and adds the third - into 3D.
