Some thoughts of divinity and lyrics: I fully understand your thoughts of Angelina as an angel sent from God. It is easy to look upon her as an angel. But we must not forget that she is after all a human being like all of us, though equipped with extraordinary musical abilities, - as others have extraordinary abilities in other fields. An old proverb is saying: "You need strong shoulders to carry good days". Appointing her an angel may put too much weight on her shoulders. We should be careful doing that. She is a 15 yo girl who needs room to not being perfect in all things. Her music is amazing and stands being compared to the best artists of the world, and she seems until now to have escaped most of the traps fame can let you fall into. (And great honour to her family for having protected her from that!). But I hope she always will feel that love and support is not dependent on a flawless behavior. I hope that she now and in all future will give us music out of joy and passion as a true gift, - to be recieved as a gift given freely and without any pressure from the reciever. In other words: We should not be disappointed or impatient if we do not get gifts! We should rejoice when Angelina finds happiness in giving us her music! The recieving of a gift honors the giver. When giving gifts becomes a duty, happiness will fade. That said, I have read her book "Mellom to hjerter" (Between two hearts) published when she was nine. The book is written almost like poetry (illustrated by her grandmother) describing what happened when she met the shoeless girl with the weighing scale, how she took off her shoes while mounting the scale so it wouldn't be dirty, how she communicated silently with her mother and got acception for not putting her shoes on again but in stead giving them to the girl who admired them and obviously needed them more, - and her many reactions and reflections about meeting a girl about her own age in poverty and need, - which must have made a very deep impression in a 6 year old girl. And reading it in between listening to "7th heaven", I found so much in it corresponding to the lyrics of the song. Maybe it is a coincidence, maybe it is something dwelling deep inside her more or less concious peeping up, but if you use the book as a reference: The song starts with "Oh, you know a lot of bitterness". The book tells of a motherless girl sitting on the wet, cold street, having given up her dreams of becoming a doctor. "The girl tells me that she has lost the hope. My heart which often talks to me, whispers: Tell her that she shall not be sad, and that she must not loose her hope. It will turn out good in the end." The reason for the girl loosing the hope of her future is the responsibility to her siblings. - And maybe it is stretching it too far, and there may be many other interpretations (which is what makes her songs and lyrics so deep), but I can't help reflecting: Can this be the "7th heaven" that falls heavy on the shoulders? The blessings and happiness of having a loving family which sometimes also can give you a feeling of conflict between the wishes to live for the loved ones and the loss of complete freedom to pursue your own ways? "The life with others' love is a heavy baggage. I want to be a star. A star can not shine without darkness. And I want to shine more and more" Thus reflecting the darkness you may find in this encouraging song? Where there is no darkness, you don't need anyone to lighten up the road! And is this connected to the 7th heaven? - Is Angelina taking the place of this girl when she is singing "all my dreams seems slowly fading", or do we speak of two related souls in a way melting into each other? "I will like to be her for a second. I am both a human and a child. I will like to share her life during a second to know how it is sitting alone, wet, damp and barefoot in a corner of the street " Is this the "secret" of her "old soul"? The very early ability of imagining herself in the situations of other people? - and thus being able to express experiences and feelings she cannot have lived? "She does not want to talk to anyone. But even if she maybe does not want to talk to me, I will like to try. As if there is a mirror just in front of me. I see myself in the mirror. The tears of the girl are flowing. It is like the world is frozen into ice, everything is cold and quiet just like a cold, grey winter. Everything has lost colour, that is how the girl looks like" As I interpreter this, Angelina is looking into the mirror, seeing herself as the girl, connecting to the girl. In "7th heaven" there is also a mirror. Is she looking at herself or at someone else? - wanting to love that person. Maybe both? And you may follow this line further and imagine Angelina talking to this girl when she is singing "Sometimes you ..."? - Or she may be talking to herself - or to both and everybody else being in need of encouragement? Probably the last. I do not try to deliver any answers. I just want to share my thoughts after having read a book about experiences going back more than half a lifetime (in Angelina's case), and I wonder: Is this the foundation upon which she is building her career? Is this orphan girl the sun that is giving her power? If so, what better foundation can be given than compassion, love and a purpose of shearing this with the world. And by doing that, giving the world hope? "I am standing on a cold floor and at the same time in heaven. I am standing between heaven and earth. I am standing between two hearts. I can not look into her eyes. No, I can not look into her eyes and keep on talking to myself. ... ... ... The girl walks backwards and measures me with her eyes. "You will become the one you are dreaming of, and when your dreams come true, you must remember the poor children without shoes, and I will pray for you, Angelina" I answered: "Don't be sad, never give up." Of respect for you and all children like you and that you prayed to God, I am today walking barefoot on cold floors singing in front of so many people. This book is for you, little princess. There is no doubt that the world as I know it is changing before our eyes in the last month there have been so many natural disasters all over the world that I personally do not remember such a period. In my opinion this song "7 Heavens" by Angelina speaks of seven worlds in terms of higher worlds. I am not a very religious person, but I do believe in a higher power, and there has to be something to it, as so many of us feel Angelina in a way that we feel no other. It is not just as a singer. It is as a humanitarian, compassionate, and humble. She emanates love and peace sort of miraculously.

A fantastic reaction but wasn’t Angelina just totally phenomenal and in total control with confidence and sensitivity. I really think Angelina has real wisdom towards music And that is one of the reasons she is so brilliant. She has got a wonderful knack of drawing people towards her music. I remember watching your reaction to Angelena when she was eight and you said how powerful she was to draw in a crowd of people that were aged 40+. I think with this song she would definitely attract the younger generation too.

I wonder how much Angelina has changed your life. Your thoughts in your reactions seem to be so much deeper and philosophical than they seemed to be a year ago. With all that I have learned about Angelina Jordan, I can't discount the possibility she is a prophet. I will stick with the fact that Angelina is a music prodigy who works very hard at improving. We almost never hear Angelina talking about her humanitarian efforts. I think her humbleness gets in the way of speaking out. Angelina lets her actions and music speak for her.

Angelina wrote the lyrics and the melody to both songs. Stargate helped with the musical arrangement. It seems that Angelina always shares the credits. Just like "Shield".

"I actually spoke with Ronny Janssen, one of the producers of “Shield” and he told me that the super talented, award-winning producer/songwriter Aksel Carlson wrote the song. Angelina had one line prior to the song being written “Forgive me for all that I am”, and Aksel wrote the song from that." Angie has stated that the "idea" for the melody came from her and she was inspired by the Bond songs. She still goes to school. and I think everyone on her team including the record company (Public Record). slows down a bit with marketing her fully.
