Wow! Thanks for the amazing info. I'm pinning this if you don't mind. I was going to check out "I put a spell on you" next but what a great idea to do a double reaction to the original. The only one I've ever heard is from Hocus Pocus (Bette Middler). Thanks again for the great info. It's funny because the band "Nightwish" has a "Nightwish Army Envoy"(as I like to call him) who always shows up to a reactor's first experience with the band and leaves his patented, immersive intro into the band. His name is Gabe. My first thought was, This is AJ's Gabe.

@@HistoryBuff I'm glad you are taking Andreas's advice and reacting to the original by Screamin' Jay. I did not fully appreciate Angelina's talent-bordering-on-genius in her version of I PUT A SPELL ON YOU until I heard the original to which she is paying tribute. She improves the musicality of the song while paying tribute to the spirit and quirkiness of the original. And all of this at the age of 9. She does repeat live performances of the same song later in life, which are also good, but the black & white version is the gold standard.

Angelina went over and talked to her. the girl was barefoot and it was cold. she told Angelina that she didnt have any shoes, SO, Angelina took her shoes off and gave them to the young girl, her new friend. after that Angelina said she would always perform barefooted as long as there were children in the world who didnt have shoes to wear. she did this all on her own.

Angelina is a Vocal Goddess, she is always amazing.I have been following her for 4 years.

This girl is probably the most talented singer I've ever seen: winning a national singing competition at the age of 8, playing 4 instruments, painting, publishing a book, composing, raising millions of dollars for children's charities, appearing on TV and on famous stages all around the world, covering over a 100 songs in different styles (emphasis on "different"), winning the golden buzzer at AGT, signing with a major record label at the age of 14,... she achieved all this and she's not even grown-up yet. Unlike other famous singers she doesn't rely on autotune, her skill is real, her performances are done either live or in 1-2 takes (confirmed by guitarists and producers). If she continues like this she'll become a legend by the time she turns 20.

Matured in 9 years recorded singing... She won Norway's Got Talent in the age of 7/8 covering Billy Holiday, Nancy Sinatra and Summertime by Gershwin.

She went to Iran with her Grandmother and met a girl her age (6) who was using bathroom scales to weigh people for money. Angelina noticed the girl didn't have shoes and gave the girl her shoes. She promised at that point to never wear shoes while performing till all kids in the world had shoes. She just turned 15 and still does not where shoes while performing. Her fans call her the Barefoot Princess

she is 15 here. go back a few years and look at some of her earlier work and you will see that its just HER sound she has had for many years. of course she can sound different when she wants to. watch her video for her song " A Million Miles" ( live in studio ) . its in black and white and was recorded live. its a song she wrote about her grand father after he passed away.

She is 15 and covers Adele and Amy like nobody else. And everybody else. I suggest next see her in BEAST mode, I Put a Spell on You, black and white version at 9 years old. Then all 4 songs in order on Norway's Got Talent 2014 at 7 and 8 years old.

Her voice distracts from the lyrics. It's a masterpiece. :)

I noticed my second time listening, especially after learning she wrote it!

This is one of her own composition. She did a lot of great covers. You should listen to her cover of Screaming Jay Hawkins "I put a spell on you". she was 9 then and she will blow your mind! Then you should check her version of "This a man's world" from James Brown. Actually all of her cover are amazing because she makes every one of them her own. She can sing jazz, blues, folk, pop, basically anything... Welcome to AJ rabbit hole. Enjoy it is worth it.

Did "Highly" mention that Angelina is just 15 years old? This is the second original single AJ has released since signing with Republic Records last summer (at age 14). She's sounded "like she's been doing this for 30 years" since she was about 6 or 7 years old. And she's posted over 130 covers (plus a few originals on YT). Pick some and start reacting! Since you’ve already heard from about 100 other commenters, I don’t want to repeat what they’ve said, but in case no one mentioned it-Angelina is the best singer in the world. Just a few suggestions: Bohemian Rhapsody, I Put a Spell on You (@9 yrs old, b&w version), Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Stay, A Million Years Ago. All are different styles with Angelina at different ages. You just need to listen and you will know why she has such devoted fans.

Thank you for your reaction to our gal , Angelina Jordan.. I will say only a couple of things as there will be many others who will give you a bio of who she is and what she has become in such a short time . She has a legion of followers who are dubbed as her 'Angels' and are supportive of new reactors wanting to grow their channel. Angelina has over 130+ plus covers and 5 of her own songs. She turned 15 yrs old this year but has become a KZread phenomenon since the age of 7 when she entered Norway's Got Talent and won. All I want to say is be prepared to be amazed and shocked at the talent she was born with . And finally , it would help if you enjoy great music and have an appreciation of jazz & blues _ a genre that Angelina has mastered since the very beginning of her career.
