I'm kind of smitten with this child. I have to say she was robbed, on AGT Champions, because she didn't win. She was born in 2007, and I was already old, but her soul is older than mine. Her Grandmother is Iranian, Mery Zamani, the artist, poet, and author. She introduced Angelina to Jazz, and When Angelina was 6 years old, she met a homeless girl around her age in Iran. The girl did not have any shoes, and Angelina says her feet were scarred. Angelina gave the girl her own shoes. According to her website, Angelina then “vowed never to appear on stage again wearing shoes until all the world’s children had them.” She keeps that promise to this day, as she says that little girl “is always in my heart.” When you watch her perform, outside of a competition, she plays to the camera, such that you feel as if she's actually singing for you, and smiling for you. She even waves and you feel that you're somehow in the room with her, and she is happy about it. If she asked me for an organ, I'd just say "Sure, which one? Do you need bone marrow with that?"

She is now 13 and ein at 7; and ein now AGT 2020 with Bohemian Rapsody A 5 Star Talent of the century!

Angelina here sounds too good to be true for anyone at any age. Just an amazing and powerful performance.

I do listen to her all day long. It's like hearing those classic songs for the first time.

You are exactly right, it is not possible for a ten year old, however we re talking about the new Princess of song where nothing is impossible. Her singing is as natural and effortless as her talking. Angelina has the unnatural talent to just open her mouth and sing anything her heart desires to master vocalist level and beyond.

Thanks Eve, I love your facial expression when you listen to Angelina ... maybe even more than your comments, which I still find very right :) Her simplicity and naturalness ... in this performance she is a barefoot small 10 year old girl in the center of an orchestra and in front of a large audience, yet she seems to be singing freely in the living room at home, without any nervousness or effort. It's simply SHE!

PL - you're right - those musicians don't receive the credit due them - the solo guitarist, the trumpet man, they compliment her singing beautifully - they're not competing with her, it's a partnership made in heaven for we mortals to enjoy.

Nick Dees : The production staff (Simon Cowell) “suggests” what they want you to sing. There are other artist who have also experienced this. It allows control over who they want to perform best. In other words, they fix the results.

I like your reactions to Angelina. I cannot help but be impressed with her attitude, as well as her talent. These days...with parents being so indulgent in their children, the way in which she carried on and performed in the AGT Champions contest after she didn't even make it to the final five, speaks volumes about her maturity and commitment. Many mothers or fathers would have been asserting, "She's brokenhearted/upset by the loss. She needs a 'time out', or some 'alone time'. There's no way she'll be able to perform." Also, many people these will boldly (sadly) state they only listen to a particular genre of music and nothing else. But Angelina is well-rounded, and appreciates many genres.

It’s funny you mentioned you’d like listening to jazz more because Angelina”s amazing talent. I started listening to jazz right after I saw Angelina”s Gloomy Sunday performance. I’m a grown man and every time I listen to Angelina she moves me, her voice and feeling, makes me feel. Great reactions!!

I concur with your comments, and I appreciate you posting your thoughts on this show and TV talent shows in general. The flip side to being an enthralled and joyous Angelina fan is being upset when she's been deprived of joy. Likewise, I'm angered by any perceived slight or injustice she receives. Not even making the top five really pissed me off. I had to watch her video of I Put a Spell on You several times to feel better.

I think the best explanation is she has been practicing with the natural talent she was given for years and years. Since she was 10 here she had already been practicing for 8 years, she did her first recording at 6 years old singing "I Who Have Nothing". At 5 years old she was already asking her mother to let her go on Norway's Got Talent. Her mother made her wait until she was 7. And that is my explanation, many many years of practice of her natural gift. Many people are given natural gifts but not many people are committed and willing to put the practice to make it perfect. Oh and one more thing she was only 13 on AGT-Champions, it was prerecorded in Oct., she didn't turn 14 until Jan.

I do not mean this in any mean way, but one of the greatest things about hearing Angelina when she is 25, will be that we will no longer have to hear people qualify her talent by saying ...for someone so young.
