Angelina Jolie is a refugee Ambassador for the UN, which means she has a duty to educate the public in a more connectable way about these issues. The same way Leonardo Dicaprio is an environmental ambassador. Regular people don't always want to be told things by researchers or historians. So ambassadors are meant to showcase things that can be easily told to a 5 year old. When has change in the world ever happened in secret? Tell me? MLK, Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates... Those things do not happen in secret. Part of the change is to mobilize and educate, not just throw money at something. This is the outcome of someone living a purpose-driven, mission fueled life. I am sure Angelina has given money to charity many times in secret. The fact that her acts of kindness are always out there in public is because her whole life revolves around this. And THAT simply shows how big her heart is. No one is perfect. We ALL have issues, but sitting around moping won't solve anything. She is a strong woman that she is able to do all of this in the middle of a divorce. So you can go back to being a salty, jealous hater, but at least try to present your argument in a more pragmatic way with real facts, rather than conspiracies and emotionally tainted presumptions. :)

Something changed her whole life and I'm guessing she realizes guilt because she has so much compared to the rest of the world. She is really weird and is obsessed with kids and the teenage boy Madox who looks like he thinks he is head of the family. Maddox is the chosen one and poor Brad Pitt could not be the father he wanted. Crazy Jolie did not allow the children to have normal lives. The young man Maddox should have gone to school with boys of his own age and the little girl Shiloh should not be dressed up like a man since she was two years old.

We have no choice to watch sleazy self confessed drug taker Jolie. She makes sure she is on the news for whatever she can get attention for. Botox face Jolie makes sure we all know her kids because she does not allow them a normal life. The kids go round with her like lap dogs and the oldest boy who is a young adult leads a creepy life, no high school or friends of his own age. Shiloh the first little girl has been dressed as a man since she was a baby. Jolie had her tits cut off and told us all she was using her tits to build awareness of cancer. We can't get away from this self promoting sicko Jolie.

I feel like the interviewer did an amazing job here. She was able to ask the questions in a delicate way, whilst still getting am answer.

I have got to give some credit to the interviewer who was extremely tactful timing and wording her questions to get some personal information and swiftly changing the topic back when she noticed the discomfort of Angelina in order to keep the communication open. Great job!

Watching this in 2019. Such an inspirational woman.

I am literally brought to tears by how kind her heart is. The best role model, doing so much and still so wholly human, full of her own personal search for meaning which most popular media has no interest in publicizing.

Sao Cungduoc she used to be very cocky. & then she broke up brad Pitt & Jennifer Aniston's marriage. because of FRIENDS, Aniston was incredibly more popular than her & had a totally different image as well. it was only after adopting her first child did Jolie's attempts to change her image began. She started doing different kinds of movies, working with the UN etc.

+anglianchannel That is of course your opinion and you're welcome to it but unless she comes out and says that she has some other agenda you're assuming that's what she's doing. I don't feel bad when someone else does something good, it doesn't make me feel guilty, nor do I think they are lording it over me. I think, that's awesome, they're trying to help out. Are you aware of all the work she has done publicly and otherwise? I'm not being snarky, I'm honestly asking that.

Angelina is and will always be a true inspiration for many. We all should learn from her, and she's one of the very, very few celebrities who are really involved and trying to really makes a difference instead of just posting things in Facebook.

Idk why anyone would hate Angelina. You don't have to like everything she does...yes she has made mistakes, but unlike most of these tools that hate on her, she admits it and grows from it. She is damn amazing and i respect her completely!

Her body language proves how much this woman is honest and beautiful inside and out! I just love her.

She's like a modern day Audrey Hepburn. Considered one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood who eventually dedicated her life more as a humanitarian. Audrey passed away from cancer and Angie was in potential risk of cancer but thank God she saved her life. Both are also super skinny and brunette.

I felt like crying when she started tearing up!!

Angelina has a beautiful heart.

I love how her accent has this exotic quality to it now, it perfectly reflects her life - how she keeps traveling and learning about different cultures, and it's reflected in her speech. The issues in her marriage have obviously been difficult on her, but it's great to see she's channelling all that stress and negativity into something she's passionate about. She's very smart.

I admire her, she's always been uninhabited, she doesn't always agree with rules, but she follows. She has lived many phases of life, but has now come full circle.

What an iconic human being😍 Her authenticity, her class puts her apart from other actresses.

I'm not a big fan of her but some of the comments are sickening. probably before you say something bad, think about what you have done as a human to help other people because I think she has done much more that you ever could. and if you have done something good and you want to point out other peoples fault then what does that make you, right?. some of the comments here are horrible. you guys pretend to be much more than a person helping other people its super sickening.prolly hear what shes saying. shes just focused on coping, probably this film helps her cope at the same time she helps other people by providing jobs, so no one loses really. Celebrity or not, divorce is hard, but that's life. Not everything turns out the way you thought it would. You move on and try to be happy again.

Beautiful, intelligent and humility are all apart of this humanitarian and she passes her wisdom from her experiences to us all, a little humility goes so far these days.🙏

PerfectSnowball The bar for being "brave and strong" is considerably low these days. How people view this woman as exceptionally brave is beyond me. She got divorced, so what? It happens to millions of people across the US every day. What was she supposed to do, kill herself? When I think of brave and strong women, I think of Harriet Tubman, or Mother Theresa. Definitely not this one, lol. I'll give her props for being slightly less vacuous than the majority of Hollywood, and for using her celebrity for good causes. Does this make her exceptional? HELL no. If anything, everyone in Hollywood should be doing this. I can only think the people who are so enamored with her supposed bravery are her mindless fans, incapable of rational thought. And in that case, she could fornicate with a seal and they'd still think she's fantastic.

I was just saying hypothetically as an example- if it was to be her job to influence public and put India in a bad spotlight and present Pakistani as some kind of victims (if there ever was another big conflict.. and we all know on which side the US will be), she'll do it very admirably. And then you'll see her in a real light and for who she really is- actress playing a political 'humanitarian', doing what people in power, who control US and UN, tell her to do. A true humanitarian and sensitive person see all victims as equal and in need of a help and doesn't care about politics..

I really wish she had done just one more Tomb Raider film so so much, the second one had such an open ending like there was one more Lara Croft as we knew her to be back in the day adventure on the way, but it just never happened. Always bums me out as much as I loved her as our original Lara Croft...sigh, oh well. I miss her prime years on the big screen all together in general anyway, very much. I swear there's never been another actress like Jolie was. ☹️

+Dylan Gale probably won't happen but we'll see. As far as continuing on as an actress goes she said she's planning to branch away from acting all together pretty soon now & focus solely as a director only but will probably still do just a couple more before it's all over from here. She lost a lot of the passion & love she used to have for it since her mother died who shared that same level of love & passion for acting as Angelina did. She loves directing more than acting now so, it's unfortunately coming to it's closing point now with Angelina wowing us on the big screen anymore for very much longer. But she says she's happier as a director more than actress now so whatever keeps her happier & going I guess, we just gotta accept & go with it.

The new Tomb Raider came and went. When you don’t have Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft, you’re going to get a flop. I hate that she hasn’t been in films as much anymore. She’s one of the final remaining youngest of the movie stars left.
