Angela Lee Sloan

Angela Lee Sloan is one of the most underrated actors to ever be in front of the camera. Her love for music began as early as age 3. She knew that eventually, Music would play a major role in her life. However, acting was something that she has always had a passion for, and it wasn’t long before this gifted human being made her mark in the world of TV. The journey really started in 1983, when she was casted as the voice of “ Lucy Van Pelt” on the Charlie Brown and Snoopy franchises. Angela was outstanding as Lucy, and to this date, she is the longest running voice of that character. The impact she had as a young actress didn’t go unnoticed. In fact, she was 1 of three finalists for the part of Annie Bennett Warbucks, in the classic musical “ Annie” although she didn’t get the lead roles, the producers recognized her talents and gave her a part in the movie as one of the dancers.
Angela also proved she could play more serious roles, including a memorable guest appearance on the popular musical show “ Kids incorporated “ where she played Suzanne, a young girl who was born blind, but never let anything stop her from achieving her dreams.
She also had a recurring role for 3 seasons on the ABC hit sitcom “ Who’s the boss “ as Samantha’s best friend Julia. Years later she was promoted from recurring character to the cast on the hit TV series, “ the hogan family “ as Willie Hogan’s girlfriend, Brenda. Angela was important as anyone in 1980’s to the success of teen actors.
I mentioned earlier about her lovefor Music. Angela never gave up that dream, and her music has been used in shows such as “ Outcast” and “ Intellgence “
Angela is a credit to both TV and Music, and her career is still going strong 40 plus years. She is everything that is good about the entertainment business.
In the spotlight is proud to bring to you,
Angela Lee Sloan
