You're wasting time not putting enough flour in at a time need more flor. That's why it's sticky.

Oh, you're one of THOSE. You know, a little sugar now and then won't poison you. It might even put you in a better mood.

I had made this video so long ago I had to see what you were talking about. You are correct, I did not get my hands into the dough. There are two reasons. 1. Grandma Carter taught me not to get my whole hands into the dough. 2. In my culinary class, they told me to use fingertips only to handle biscuit dough. The reasoning behind that is to not add heat to the dough which keeps the butter colder, making a fluffier flakier product. Now, when you make bread, you use the palms of your hands as you want that heat to help the yeast rise better. This recipe is a cross between the two but the name of the recipe is Angel Biscuits, so I used the biscuit method to knead. I appreciate you watching my video and hope you find a recipe you like. Also, let me know if you try any of the recipes. Oh, if you like chocolate... try the Hot Fudge Pudding Cake. It is a recipe I discovered in my first culinary class and I always get great reviews when I make it. And it is really fast and easy to make! Thanks again and have a great day!

a chef should know you mix dry ingredients with a whisk, what an amateur!

Dear Sandra, First, thank you for watching my video! Interesting comment... When I went to culinary school using a whisk to mix dry ingredients was not pushed. As long as it is mixed, it works. And these turned out great! This recipe along with many of my recipes are old-school homestyle recipes. I don't always use every tool I am supposed to because I want to execute my techniques so that most people may have the tools and can recreate the recipe at home. Over the course of 15 years. I have taught culinary arts in a few disadvantaged areas. Having done so, I know not everyone may have a whisk and it may not dawn on them to use another tool, so they will not attempt the recipe. So some may judge it as amateurish without knowing the full story. I do hope you try this recipe and let me know how it works for you! Thank you for your comment.

I'll be sure to watch YOUR videos to see how things should be done. Oh, you don't have a KZread channel? Then don't be so nasty to those who do. As a matter of fact, I just watched a video of Alton Brown making biscuits with his grandmother, and he didn't use a whisk, either. But what does he know, he's only the star of a very popular long running Food Network program and the author of many cookbooks. How many cookbooks have you written? Maybe you should contact him to tell him what an amateur he is because he didn't use a whisk for his dry ingredients.
