Ange should be upset with himself. Not having a set piece coach in the state we are in with regards to set pieces is insane! Not playing gio when he is the most creative player we have and he carried us when madisson was injured is also poor!

@@doughill1945 Arteta was so negative, overrated sourpuss manager. And I agree with Mark: Lo Celso has to start next match, surely! Maddison has been off the boil since he injured his ankle.
The forwards are trying to play fluid football but they can't because they're average. Maddison is looking to make the passes but the movement isn't there and if he does reach Werner or Kulu the ball ends up being passed backwards or sideways. Son isn't arriving in the box if a cross does make it. The forwards are crowding Maddisons area which I can see is frustrating him. Ange plays two of his shortest players as full backs and leaves Dragusin on the bench. Honestly, i can see him putting in for a transfer in the summer if he can't get in ahead of Davis or Porro. Ange looks like a clueless statue on the side line and this is the first time that he's looked depressed in a post match interview. He looked like he's a lost man with no answers and knows that he'll have to work with more incoming average signings in the summer. Arne Slot plays better defensive football, he's players are coached to a higher level going forward but even he couldn't do much with this forward line.
the player who wanted to leave to us cause we weren't playing CL football scores an OG in a pivotal CL positioning game... the irony is quite astounding really.
He certainly looked a lonesome figure out there, didn't he? Deep in thought about "what if"! But "what if" we do get good summer signings, and I believe we will, then those problems will dissolve. We have the nucleus of a strong squad ... we just need those top draw players that make the difference, something that we do not have right now.
Ange said it well last night, when he lamented about the on-field officials not having the final say... and it doesn't make sense, that some blokes "miles down the road" are making all the key decisions? VaR has been a disaster, and no team has suffered more than Spurs (with the possible exceptions of Wolves & Forest). SCRAP IT!

We just dont learn. These set pieces are killing us since the beginning of the season and we keep on making the same mistake. I love Ange but if he cant fix somethong so obvious that we lack, there is no point on bring here. Just playing beautiful and nice doesnt work if we have no plan b.

Plan A(NGE) ball fails again.lots of time to prepare, no significant injured players....3 HOME goals conceded, along with the 4 away by Newcastle reserves....the other club managers know that SpursY are one dimensional and AB is not flexible.Sorry Chris ,dont expect many points going forward.
