Even after over a decade at the top, this is still Murray's greatest ever performance. Took the guy, and one of the greatest players that's ever lived, who had just beat him in a Wimbledon Final 3 weeks earlier, to the cleaners.

With Murray's playing style I don't see a situation where he gets tennis success without wearing down his body. His whole 'thing' was determination and running for every point. This takes a toll and if e.g. Federer had less finesse and had to resort to that playing style he would probably have retired by now.

Novak had been quite drained post the French open and didn't play like a no 1 in the following tournaments (His finishes at USO and tour finals are surely notable but his draw was especially easy in the uso) Andy really peaked post wimbledon 2012. Won the Olympics, USO. But then Novak being Novak got clutch again in AO, Rafa was literally untouchable in FO and still has his godly movement to even win HC slams. Roger was off in the next season which gave him a prime chance to win wimbledon which he did. But once Roger got back in form, there was barely any gs Andy could be the favourite in. He's definitely among the best, but all of his great losses have come at the hands of the 3. The big 3 are a different level most of the time.

Joker will be the GOAT if he wins remaining grand slams this year. That will give him the Calendar slam which no men or women haven’t done since the great Rod Laver. That will also give him 21 grand slam titles which surpass both Fed and Nadal. He can go on and try to win the Olympics gold and that will give him the Golden slam which will make him the true GOAT, no argument in that. If he achieves Super Slam by also winning the ATP Finals by the end of this season, he’s THE GOAT. Everyone shut up period!

People talk as if Federer was nowhere close to a Olympic gold medal. If you look closely with an unbiased lens, he actually has WON a gold in double, a gold is gold. And here, he lost but going home with a silver. It is no mean achievement. An Olympic gold, Silver and he was very close to winning a bronze way back in 2000 Olympic, finished 4th there.
