I missed him when he left Late Night but when he came back for the Tonight Show he was just an announcer, pretty much. He used to do a lot of bits but is just the announcer now.

This is legendary footage. This is just 1 year before the big reunion of 96'. Its amazing seeing eric singer and bruce kulick still in the band.

I really related with that guy at 4:47 not being able to get his words across. The struggle to articulate.

Conan makes himself the center of the comedy. Andy makes others the center of comedy, and him staying subtle. It is genius. Their polar opposite comedy styles really work together

Andy Richter is quite tall. He just seems tiny in comparison with Conan.

Andy is 6'1", Conan is 6'4". I thought Andy was taller, but he's also thicker than stick thin Conan, which throws a lot of the height off. I know people in common with those two, and when I see them pair up on screen, I have to wonder if someone is wearing flats or heels.

The guy in the beggining is the real Carl from aqua teen hunger force lol

I was only a baby when this was filmed. I sometimes forget how long Conan and Andy have been doing this!

It cut from the tribute band to the real KISS. For half a second I thought he was interviewing the tribute band.

Oh man young Andy and Conan, full of life and energy

And then months later Conan would announce the original band on the U.S.S. Intrepid for the Reunion Tour Press Conference, my first memory of Conan, and I’ve been following his career ever since, love you CoCo 🤘🏼

They’ve changed the music on this. It had KISS music on it when it aired, not this stock royalty free stuff. Had it on VHS for decades. The scene with the tribute band drinking had Cold Gin playing.

Is the guy impersonating Paul Stanley actually Paul Stanley. He looks exactly like him, acts just like him, and sounds exactly the same.

Band seems like nice guys but those mannequins were freaky as hell.

It’s weird that even without the makeup the members of a tribute band look exactly like the real members.

And that was the middle of the greatest decade in human history. I will remember it fondly till I die.

Conan used to have so many freckles on his face and hands!!! Guess they do actually fade with age, huh.

You can see them better in stuff where he's off set, the camera isn't as grainy as it used to be, so it doesn't pick them up with the makeup anymore

Like Conan and many people of Irish/British descent I had rosacea and freckles when I was younger. they do fade away

I got see Kiss for the first and supposedly last time. In January of 2020, before the outbreak! My only concert of this year.

I wouldn’t say first half. There was a period there for a year or so (90-91) where there was a clear transition between the two decades, but with the emergence of grunge near the end of ‘91, there was a distinct new era.

@@assmane999 I totally agree! I was goin' to write the same thing. A decade attitude doesn't end when the decade ends on a calendar. I'm doin' a lot of researches for my youtube show and from what I discovered the transition year from the '80s to the '90s was 1992 and from what I know right now the transition year from the '70s to the '80s was 1982... Go figure! With the '70s the things are a little more foggy... it seems that the '69 was the transition year but I ain't sure, I'd like to visit all the '70s before sayin' anythin' about it!

Relentless Flashbackin' my impression of the transition from 60’s to 70’s also occurred about 2 years after the turn of the decade. However, the 60’s was broken up into 2 distinct halves I think. “The hippy, flower power, everyone be happy” half, and the jaded hippy psychedelic and harder rock half. They were similar but distinct.

I kinda met Ace seven years ago, when he was GOH at ConTamination 2013. He apparently asked for an area "all by himself", but Dave had to put him off in a corner away from the main room and general gathering areas. Ace was PISSED. I nearly ran into him as he was coming back from something, did not recognize him at first until someone pointed out where his table was, then I realized who I almost ran into. LOLz Meanwhile, "Dave, we need another cord! Dave we need a longer cord! Dave, this cord doesn't work with my laptop for the presentation!" LOL Oh, and one of the Jason actors (big blond dude) ripped into someone I was with because he didn't believe in ghosts. I came back from checking out the celeb room to find this confrontation going on at our table. wtF? There are like three other ghost guys here! Go bug them!
