Anduril: The Startup Building Surveillance Systems & Drone-Smashers For The Military | NBC News Now

Palmer Luckey’s defense technology startup, Anduril Industries, is developing products he says the United States needs as a matter of national security. Anduril has already built surveillance systems for military and defense agencies and is now adding a drone-destroying capability to its product line. The company recently secured a contract to deploy its interceptor system in conflict zones overseas. But all of this makes Anduril, and Luckey, highly unusual in the tech industry, which has seen workers openly rebel against any work that would give surveillance capabilities to law enforcement or the military.

I think this is a good idea since other countries make certain parts for certain thing for our military already so if you kinda think about it. They already know what type of weapons and tech that the military have and so that alone makes it easy for them to understand where the weak and strong point are in our military and so with that, I believe the USA making there own tech would keep other countries guessing instead them already knowing and already have an idea on to go about thing since they know where our weak points are.

Those employees who are complaining , why do they think they are sleeping peacefully in their homes? It’s because of the defense forces. It’s-basic responsibility to support the forces rather than condemning anything. More over most of them are working on softwares to give more ads so it’s better to bring some meaning to your lives by atleast not obstructing the support

They track people moving through an environment, but don't do facial recognition. Ok, but can software be written to identify unique gaits and postures? Body geometry would be difficult to alter. Gaits and postures may not be as unique as fingerprints or ears, but in a small enough group, 100, 1,000, or more, could "leaders" be identified and targeted? Wonder what Ron Swanson would think of all this.
