my son played r47 on viscaria, very good in producing spin with good speed. Downsides are ball slipped quite often (maybe due to high humidity in Malaysia), Another set back we faced was the durability of the rubber. it worn out very fast, around one and half month with 7 sessions per week trainning. His current Nittaku G1 can last at least 3 months with same amount of trainning, which produces higher spin and better grip.

I just tried R47,FH on Carbondao 45,Clipper CR and clipper CR WRB, R47 has a amazing grip, spin and control.it has 2.3 mm sponge and specially made for plastic balls.Best result is when I use Clipper Cr WRB. I could do anything I want with this rubber,T05 is too fast and bouncy.Dwell time for R47 is great and can do anything is this rubber.I have tried T05,64,T80.Joola Maxx-P ( is my BH rubber) is very close to R47, but R47 has more spin, speed and great for counter loop.Ciao.

This was a great comprehensive review. I'll definitely have to return to it from time to time. I've recently (the past 3 months) discovered the value of Andro rubbers. Presently I am using 'Rasant grip' [1.7mm] on my backhand and Xiom Omega V Europe [max] on my forehand. I use a Stiga Oversized Allround blade. I am an all-around player. Backspin is vital to my game and I use the Rasant grip to chop and push with. Were I to offer any critique of your review it would be that you spent time describing how these rubber worked creating topspin, but you didn't talk about how these rubbers work creating backspin. Can you offer your opinion about which one of these Andro rubbers would be good for backspin?

@@RAPPOSIR - I agree with you. Most players don't know how to serve backspin, and they don't know how to return a back-spinned ball. Most players serve sidespin, topspin, or dead balls in order to set up a topspin attack. I think it is because it is more difficult to spin the new plastic ball. I think the game has suffered because of this.

The unfortunate about this channel is that, even this is the best English speaking rubber reviews channel but still lack of a lot of details. Especially when Dan speaks he mostly talked about what suit him the most, so if anyone who plays different to him they can't use this as a guide on what to choose. So for R50 Dan said it is slower and more direct but didn't mention the fact that the players who likes to brush the ball thin or players who came from tacky rubbers would suit this a lot better. And for the V versions Dan said it doesn't have as much control to Rs, but he was doing topspin drives so of course it would have less control. However for the players who favour smashes and counter hit, that might be different but he didn't mention about those.

From Power Grip to Rasanter 47 and Recently as of few days ago (After watching These Video Reviews) R50 and R53, all were Crap!. No Spin at all!. Just Speed/Fast But no Spin AT ALL!!!
