Andrew Wommack - The Balance of Grace and Faith

This is probably one of THE most important teaching I have come across all these years. Andrew talks about the balance of living in grace and faith. Grace alone will kill you. Faith alone will kill you. But together, you'd die without them.
"You are saved by grace, you aren't saved by faith, you're saved by grace THROUGH faith, it's combination of the two"
"Grace is God's part, faith is your part"
"It's not grace if it demands your performance"
"Faith doesn't move God, God's not the one that needs to move. God's not stuck"
"Faith only appropriates what God has already provided by grace"

I'm glad I found this because sooooo many Latter Day Saints Think they have to do Works in order to be Worthy to obtain certain blessings, which is a far cry from what Faith by Grace means. Andrew Wommack explains it perfectly!

I've been listening to Andrew for more than 35 years. The first few minutes when Andrew claimed that the people who took the approach, "we're going to twist God's arm... is usually referred to as 'the faith group,'" I was a little troubled because Andrew knows better than that. Yet, the words "usually referred to as" meant he was describing "the faith group" from the "outsider" perspective. In the end, this was an absolutely *excellent* clip from the message.

Grace is living in complete Peace and Rest everyday with the Lord, because we are accepted by our Father no matter what our lives look like. God through His Grace, cleans up our lives and makes life worth living every single day. Grace is no shame, no guilt, no condemnation, no matter how messed up we are, because Grace swallows up our wrong doing and drowns us in His love. Grace is God giving us every good thing because He loves us, not because we have done right. Grace is Gods LOVE.

Grace: God's blessing over us even though we don't deserve it. Mercy: withholding of punishment even though we deserve it.

If you don't agree with a man of GOD. You need to pray about it. Not make remarks that make christians look like we are full of bitterness. Judging is for GOD not us. What we do is between us and GOD. ( adaskojordan ) from the comments.

We are saved by Grace. We may not go to hell for our sin because Jesus died for us but, we still get Chastised for our wrong doing and blessing Yeap that's right we even get Chastised for our blessing because sometimes before God can bless He need to mold us for that blessing.. We might ask for a Wife or Husband. God may need to mold us in oreder to be with that person. It could take a year or more for us become who God need us to be so that husband or wife can come into our life. If He gave us that person now we would mess it up because of our ways. So He is working that blessing because we asked for it. So everytime you lust after women or men God steps in and chastise you because He loves you and want to give you that blessing but not if you will just ruin it. God loves Jesus but look at what Jesus had to go through to do God's will. Even He asked God why have You forsaking me. Basically God Chastise Himself to bless Himself. Think about in order to bless God we must bless others. We also have to realize we have to be someone God can use. He can't use someone who gets saved and accepts Jesus as their Lord but fall back into sin and have no attention of getting out. God knows future and past so God will not bless someone with a millon dollars if they aren't ready for it but, He will start working on that blessing by working on us. Do you have any idea what kind of shape Christeans would be in if they can do whatever they want and still get God's blessing.

Yes, we can 'make' God move. We can also hinder Him. You seem to have an issue with faith and how it is what God uses to get His will done on earth. Still our responsibility to know what God's will is. You obviously didn't listen to the teaching in the video, Mr. Wommack clearly makes a distinction to what you are accusing.
