I've been craving a grip breaking video for ages now. Teach us your ways Andrew! You will have a white belt army behind you

I volunteer as the wb tribute 😂
Have you ever got any medals for your hard work 👀
Ah, grip fighting. Probably the most underrated aspect of Jiu Jitsu. The person that wins the gripping exchanges is the most likely to win the whole match. Thanks for your great videos Wiltse! I hope we can invite you to Amsterdam soon; DODO Jiu Jitsu is a very small academy, but we're super dedicated and very active in the competition scene. Lots of love from all of us training in living rooms and gardens right now.

Love that you’re still getting after it in gardens. Good luck to you guys.
This isn’t just for white belts, as a blue belt this is a part of my game I seriously need to develop, thank you

Amazing
Hey guys Spain love your shit!!! We love your bjj world🤙🏻
Thank you, this was great with advanced concepts for what many would dismiss as a routine subject.
love it keep it up. big fan
This is so good, yet so informal, yet so well filmed. I feel like I'm actually in a class, and I can't say that about really any other instructional videos. The flow of information is so continuous and lean. There's no filler information, yet there's a lot being said. To top things off, he's genuine.

Great video. Next time, I'm going to use the grip break at 1:55. 🔥🔥🔥
Hells yeah!
This changed up my game so much, thank you
Again some great details about breaking or nullifying grips. Thanks Andrew!
Man I love how you teach!! Huge help!
Excellent stuff brother. Keep em coming !
Good stuff!
A few I haven't seen I likes 🤙
This guy looks pretty knowledgeable...I wonder if he has won any tournaments...
I LOVE all the details in these videos! I always struggle to break grips because I am usually rolling with bigger people with stronger hands. I will be drilling these in my next session 🙂
Great advice Andrew, I just came to the realization that I regularly struggle with breaking grips, somehow it's never come into my mind, seems so obvious after watching this. Thanks

Drillers make killers! Practice practice practice!!!
This is terrific and extremely important at every belt level. The earlier you start grip fighting, the better! Although lately I’m having trouble dealing with lapel guards. For example, if my opponent grabs the bottom of my lapel, I usually try to negate that grip by moving with them and removing the tension, or at least attempting to remove the tension so the offense is minimized. Wondering if you have an approach to dealing with lapel guard grips if the grip is successful. Thanks for all the content Andrew!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm probably too old to be as explosive as you guys but fuk it I'm loving bjj now, thanks for the inspiration ❤

Maybe go easier not he gripping if your not training to be a high level athlete no need to kill your hands. But if your going to keep it going just make sure you strech out your hands before and after class. maybe soak your hands in epson salt after class . Or just let go when someone is about to rip your grip and regrip after or go to some other grip.
