"Andrew Tate IS A MISOGYNIST!" Panel Debate If Andrew Tate Hates Women

Ойын-сауық

Piers Morgan is joined by TalkTV contributor Esther Krakue and journalist Jenny Kleeman to debate whether controversial online influencer Andrew Tate is a misogynist and whether his views are dangerous to young men.
Jenny believes he does hate women because his comments infer he thinks they're inferior to men, for instance when he labels them as his 'property'. However Esther thinks he is a voice for straight white males who often feel unheard in western society. She does however agree his failure to condemn the brutality of the Taliban's treatment of women doesn't help with his argument that he in fact loves all women.

I have a question. Let's say I make the observation that, African Americans, when left alone oftentimes infight, steal from each other, kill each other and destroy their own family structures way more than other races. Let's say I also believe that the observable IQ differences between African Americans and non-African Americans are biological and that African Americans are incapable of looking after their own and should be guided by another race (i.e., white people). Does this make me racist? Or do I at least hold racist sentiments? Now if Andrew Tate makes the observation that men are physically stronger than women, less emotionally driven, more ambitious, etc, and argues from this biological difference that women cannot look after themselves and that men should be making all the decisions on their behalf, is there not some misogynistic sentiment there? This at least fulfills the prejudical definition of misogyny. I'm personally of the belief that Tate isn't misogynistic. But he holds some views that infantilize women and can be considered to be misogynistic.

I think Piers and that red dress woman don't seem to understand that condemning the taliban is hypocritical to say the least. Tate's point was that the Taliban are the current people who're keeping the country from spiralling into anarchy and that if it meant keeping girls from education, there is'nt much anyone outside the country can do, least of all condemn it. If you want the women in Afghanistan to get education, go there and fight for it. That's Tate's message

Tate would not be drawn on whether the T.ban are wrong to ban women from going to uni because to say they are wrong is 1. Imposing our ideals on another nation (which is arrogant and is what has caused all the trouble in the Middle East in the first place) and 2. Because what we see as wrong is not necessarily what others see as wrong. Who defines wrong for something like this? The government and laws of that country, that's who. The ONLY people who can persuade or convince the t.ban to do something different are the people of Afghanistan and maybe visiting diplomats. For the rest of us to talk about it and virtue signal on TV or social media is completely pointless and a total waste of everyone's time.

They label themselves as victims of trauma/anxiety/depression etc. so they have an excuse to not do anything about their problems. What he is trying to say is: yes life is hard and yes you can have awful experiences in life BUT you are always responsible for your life and you are the one who has the power to change it (with Gods help ofc). And that's exactly what Islam is teaching as well. I can totaly see why he converted. Life is about getting up, gaining discipline, having a purpose and working hard. That's when success will come. @@MetalRaydown I think the majority of the rest of the world think it's objectively wrong, but realistically speaking, what are we going to do about it. We can have an opinion that goes against the laws that a country makes, doesn't mean they will change them. And us people who aren't involved in politics cannot and will not try to go over there and force them to change their new laws. It sounds messed up, but it's reality. Change to Afghanistan will only happen from inside the country or by one of the more powerful countries declaring war, none of which will happen soon. Tate saying it has nothing to do with him and that he lives in countries whose laws he respects, I don't see what the problem with that is.

What is the point of him giving his views on the Taliban if : A) His view wouldn't change a thing in Afghanistan, only cause further aggression on a subject that does not concern him. B) The time spent on a topic he cannot contribute to could be better spent on a topic he has experience and valuable input on. Baffles me the ignorance of women like Jenny Kleeman who just completely degrade the way someone deals with an objection. They are the first people to get irate when someone combats their moral ground and/or actions taken on a certain topic. People like Andrew, if a valid point is raised, will straight away credit that with a comment such as "you've actually raised a very good point, my response to that would be..." Whereas these extreme feminists refuse to accept that there is any rational behind a response/objection, and completely dismiss alternative views and beliefs by shifting the focus/skimming past key elements. This then in turn, not only refutes all their ideologies (because they can't combat with a logical, insightful or judicious response), but also diminishes the whole point of a debate.
