I'm especially happy for him because he's having a nice slow burn to his career instead of exploding and fading. He's going to be an evergreen actor and I really hope he gets into voice acting. There's been a significant personality change in Schulz and crew ever since the special came out. That 100 million question really highlighted how drastically they changed, talking with Santino I hope checked them a little
@Sid00077
Жыл бұрын
I don't know if they have changed. Schulz made it pretty clear that he enjoys the freedom that money brings. And he also has visions to achieve bigger things. Just look at Louis CK. Like Louis mentioned in a pod, when he makes money, he has a number in mind that he will likely need, and the rest goes towards his hobby of directing/writing screenplays/movies. Santino's hobbies enable him to make money and keep it all for himself while Schulz and Louis, especially the latter, have other people that they need to take care of because of their hobbies, especially because it requires a good amount to just break even. Both perspectives aren't wrong.

@@Sid00077 this just felt like the first time he met someone that said no to $100 million and the whole crew just couldn't wrap their heads around it, their still young though so in time I'm sure their perspectives will change
@spotzidog5110
Жыл бұрын
Really? I think people knock Schulz for having it all gone to his head a bit which perhaps is fair (personally I dont see a change as he's always been a bit cocky, I think it's part of his shtick), but if anything it highlighted a difference in the responsibility that both take on, Schulz takes on the responsibility to make others around him eat and Santino doesnt really give me that impression and admits he couldnt handle the pressure of such money. Props to him for knowing his limitations and he did say he would share the money up a bit, but I think thats more in theory whereas with schulz it seems Schulz already lives it in terms of the crew around him being paid falls on him, paid for the studio upgrade etc. He's the one pushing the project financially. Anyway the special was a milestone but it didnt blow me away tbh, at least compared to the last 3 specials I watched Jew, Stavvy's and Louis CKs in 2021. I still think this is the best podcast around even if it gets a bit stale at times. Other pods are only good for the occasional episode but never interested in watching weekly

Their discussion about money and wealth made me think of this story about Joseph Heller: This was an exchange Bogle witnessed at a party given by a billionaire on Shelter Island in New York. The late novelist Kurt Vonnegut informed his pal, Joseph Heller, that their host, a hedge fund manager, had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his wildly popular novel Catch-22 over its whole history. Heller responded - “Yes, but I have something he will never have . . . enough.”

Cheeto is just a normal dude who turned into a Red Rocket and took off 😁, but he doesnt forget his roots!! He's still the same dude as he was before he had $, which is so rare! Makes me like him even more, plus he's so naturally hilarious it's hard not to be a fan !

@@InspectorButters4 same, im like Santino. I get Schulz was doing but too much money for a normal dude would complicate things

Shultz grew up with money, it’s super evident. Santino grew up poor and didn’t forget his roots.
When Santino was like "whats going on with the movie" I freaken lost it!
intro is probably the best content ive seen in years 😂😂
Shultz met his match in comedy and Santino definitely won 💪🏼

Not much of a competition. Schulz isn’t funny, like at all, not even a comparison
Incredible opener. You boyz never cease to amaze me.
I love Santino. He’s such a down to earth, respectable guy.
Love the intro graphics shifty!!!
Bad Friends with Bobby, Santino, and Theo would be the best fucking podcast ever.
Santino is hilarious 🤣🤣 Bad friends is my favorite podcast. Hilarious 🤣
Ther Biden impression was SPOT ON---especially with his choice of words! xD
This one was HILARIOUS to me. Love to see it
“Those cookies are fucking trash” fucking love honesty, ya hardly see it now a days
Andrew The Red, by far the best gets you ever have on please make him a regular.✅
Bless this man!
The blue chew add was the best I've seen in a while😂😂😂😂😂
Tito Andrew is always a great hang and effortlessly hilarious.
Santino and Theo Von are awesome pod guests. I feel they are funnier being themselves on pods than they are doing standup. Theo needs to be on Flagrant!
See how quick Al expression changed when mark made fun of the shirt and sandal combo ctfu
Andrew's mom's reaction to him crashing the car makes me want to cry it's so perfect.
Great podcast Fellas ! Apreciate your time and energy Guys ! Thanks for the great content as always Andrew!! Respect Sir !!
Great intro, terrific pod fellas. 👏
Andrew Shultz feeling awkward about his wife’s body count at 23:33 🤣😂🤣😂😂😂
Listening with AirPods. I believe there’s feedback on Santinos mic, great pod!
Mark’s impersonation of Andrew was the highlight of this pod omg
Better believe Andrew is coming up in May
I saw Akaash at the Wilbur in Boston a few days ago... straight up my favorite stand up show I've ever been too. Huge props man, you're killing it and doing great things
I'm dying the entire length of this episode 😂😭
