You know what, I came here because I recently remembered singing this song in primary school haha

Back in primary school, I was really badly bullied. There was this one dinner lady, and out on the playground she always came up to me on the "buddy bench" and would sing this song to me and dance to cheer me up, we would play and she would tell me the names of all the different types of trees surrounding our field. Later on she dissapeared and I found she had actually passed away. This was her favoruite song, and I still listen to it this day, may she rest in peace because I'll never forget her 💕

I used to sing this song while picking up vegetables and fruits in my parent's backyard as a child on the 90s...still remember the lyrics word per word...even though back then I didn't speak English (I'm still learning now). 😄❤ Yeah, Jason Donovan was/is very famous in Indonesia. Thank you Jason for adding music to sweetened the memories of my childhood! I'm going to sing this again while picking up vegetables and fruits in my own backyard... 🍋🍌🍅🍆🌶🎵🎶

Saw the new production with Jason as Pharaoh this past weekend it was great fun. My wife and I loved it.

This song just pop out of my head, go searching & still enjoying this lovable song on August 2022, my childhood memories 🥰❤️

Going on Wednesday to see this and I thought I'd never get the chance to see Jason in this production! I lived in an abusive family with a violent step dad and all my friends used to talk about going to see it and I was just there thinking "I'll never ever see this". I loved listening to this song and played over and over again because I could really relate to it, feeling alone but being hopeful and grateful for every little thing that came my way, indeed I felt grateful I had the song on single that I paid for with my babysitting job. I'm 42 and I have bought tickets to go to London with my beloved. Dreams do come true!

I went to see this in 1992 with my primary school at the London Palladium and yes Jason Donavon was singing. In fact I think I saw him backstage near the dressing room before the performance!

I remember having this on vinyl. Still remember playing it as a kid :)

I was 11 years old in 1991 when this came out. Almost 3 decades on in 2020! I feel like boarding the tardis and going back to much better times. 2020 is full of depression and worse days and years to come! So every now and then I love going back to the late 80s and early 90s.

The original was written in 1968 - the year Jason Donovan was born.

Still my favourite version of this song and always will be, Jason just brought a certain charm to the role that has never been topped in my honest opinion.

I can't believe it's 30 years! I listened to this loads when it was released and forgot all about it. Then, a few days ago I heard this song on TV - Not the Jason D version though - so thought this worthy of a listen. Cheesy maybe, but a timeless classic...I think so anyway. Oh, and I'm something of a closet Jason Donovan fan LOL. He did some great songs, in my opinion.

I got to see the donny osman play of joseph. I got to see his sister in the sound of music. Both such amazing ppl. I got to perform this play in school. We practiced out asses off for months. I haven't heard this music since then and im now 40 with a brain injury but to my surprise i remembered this entire song from like 30 years ago lol. Crazy how the brain works.
