Klaven's 'attractiveness' to me is the story of his struggle to find his purpose outside of his Jewish roots. He is open & vulnerable as he journeys foward to knowing Jesus, the person. Extraordinary man of humility filled with love, some self castigation & a yearning to bring others along to find their purpose & joy.

Being a serious Christian, I was having doubts whether it was proper for me to spend an hour watching this video, the Spirit of God led me to remember this scripture: Philippians 4: 8, Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Andrew is so fascinating, he turns Eric into a listener.

H-m-m-m! I’m just a 68 1/2 year old kid, but this interview was so fun, and I felt so involved with you my brothers in Christ. This has given me a new hope of why and how to comment to all these young (or not) people who think that Believers are intolerant, homophobic, crazy etc. You are right, it is joy, love and excitement that will be the best advertisement for our relationship with our Saviour. I am thinking of buying your books now, instead of waiting as I usually do, for my birthday, as I think sharing them will be the right presentation of the gospel for my intellectual bookworm neighbour.

Insanely fabulous interview. I'm Jain turned athiest from India. I still don't understand how can one go from atheist to being a person of faith again. For me, I'd need to erase all the logical bits of knowledge I know of physics, evolution, maths etc. from my brain.

Metaxas and Klavan together finally - brilliant!

I only had a hint of Mr. Klavan's past, I had no idea he went through such a mental break as he describes in this interview! I am so delighted he was able to get out of it and to find meaning with his life in the Eternal Way. I do not have much time to listen to his show very often, but I truly appreciate his insight! He is one of the best conservative voices out there, and there are so many good ones. I will always make time for Socrates in the City, tho. I am so happy you all are posting again!
