As someone else on youtube commented, no one but Gouche can be this busy and this in the pocket simultaneously. His fillers lead back to the one in such a focused way, without unnecessary meandering, i guess thats what I love about his playing.

There are so many ways to feel the pocket! V Wooten, Marcus Miller, Mono Neon. They al would have played this differently but all hit the pocket. So, The pocket is not a style, it's a feeling!!! WOW!!!

I do believe it's a MTD bass.

Is that bass tuned to standard tuning? It sounds great. Not as twangy as his usual sound.
