Flintoff had everything; the pace, the swing, the batting, the aggression what generally any world class all-rounder requires but still missing something. Probably the hunger to perform as a champion at the international level for a long time, just like Jack Kallis or Shakib Al Hasan. But still i admire him a lot.

I'm so sad when he gave his early retirement but after that England got ben stokes they are so lucky to have that player in the team

Immensely talented guy FlintOff, I like this mans personality, no matter people call him a bully, it's not easy to perform the way he has performed all roundedly keeping his cool in the desperate situations

In my unqualified Aussie opinion he was a better allrounder than Botham. Even though I hated what he did to us I always enjoyed watching him play.

You are partially right. He would have been greater than Beefy had he not suffered from injuries. Beefy was more of a batting allrounder and Flintoff is vice versa even though he had a great batting potential which he didn't fulfill. But in my opinion Beefy is always number one who reserved his best always against the old rivals.

No. I strongly disagree because Beefy was at his best or he brings his best when he played against Australia. If you take out Botham, England would have lost the 1981 ashes comfortably. He was very upbeat whenever he played against Australia. Botham was way better than Flintoff. I can say that Flintoff was a better bowler.

Both Kevin petersien and flintoff used the same sticker for more than 3 years

After 2000 English team has good players like Flintoff, Trescothick, Vaughan, Anderson, Peterson, Giles but they fails to win world cup even they couldn't reach in semifinals.
