Cambridge Union defending free speech? It was Keir Bradwell (Who opens this conversation) who drafted a blacklist of speakers just 3 weeks ago. Care to comment Cambridge Union? Transparency is the best policy here.

Too much chat about economics, needed some woke politics since that's what the Bank of England should be prioritising right now.

Yeah Prince Andrew looting £250,000 free money from slavery to overcome his disadvantaged upbringing why discuss that or why children educated by the BBC at a cost of £64,000,000,000 leave school not knowing where money comes from

The job of central bankers is to ensure sound money - period. Their views on diversity, climate change and similar are irrelevant and unwelcome - get on with the day job, in which the main Central Banks are currently heading for a poor 2:2. The Davos-attending "rockstar" central bankers of the 1990s through 2010s - starting with Alan Greenspan and leading to Mark Carney - have led us to a disastrous, massively leveraged global financial situation based on keeping the monetary sugar rush going to keep politicians happy and creating enormous inequalities. We must hope that Andrew Bailey is something different. Jury is out.

Do you prefer to talk to Prince Andrew or my Lloyds Bank manager she got 17 years prison? My school had to bring in an Advanced Maths teacher called Mohammad the year I got a prize for physics just before Thatcher looted £500,000,000,000 sovereign wealth inheritance of our children for generations
