We are basically watching art. The choices and decisions he makes 3 steps ahead. The pure fearlessness as he is so good he rarely places the ball off his target. From standing still. Even at insane, almost unrealistic passes. It’s damn jaw dropping.

i rarely watch football match but i play football as midfielder. Since this match, I admire Pirlo so much. One of the best midfielder match ever. I like his style. Not fancy, no sprint, no dribble, just cool pass. He himself looks cool

Well he was a monster dribbler. More tactical dribbler than speed merchant, but phenomenal dribbler nonetheless
this is a masterclass
He lost the ball once in this match and Germany lauch dangerous counterattack with Schneider missed the chance of scoring.
Everyone talks about Busquet's calmness on the pitch, but Pirlo was on another level.

Surprisingly, he was good tackler who perfectly timed those slides to pick the ball from an opponent
After rewatching this everybody can clearly see why Italy won this. Pirlo was the one pulling the strings the whole match, and Germany were completely unable to do anything against him.
