Andrea, like always, superb with her voice. General talent of the band is wonderful... Ignasi with piano, so smooth. God Bless them.

All I can say and ask is that "ISN'T SHE LOVELY AND EXCEPTIONALLY GIFTED AS A JAZZ MUSICIAN, BOTH SINGING AND PLAYING?" An absolutely rare combination, and of course, being multi-lingual as well. I like EVERYTHING that comes from Andrea, and under the genius guidance of Joan, anyone obviously cannot go wrong.

i can't imagine how all this talent is embodied in one individual. Andrea is simply the most well rounded and versatile muscian I've ever experienced.

I don't think there's a better upright bass player out there, than Mr. Joan Chamorro. He's simply the Best!!!

Reading all the comments, and with my own experience of watching and listening to Andrea and Joan, and band, I would love to hear about the hours of commitment of Andrea’s early life.....practice ... and what did she give up.? Andrea refers to herself as a trumpet player who sings. Today 2022 her trumpet playing is brilliant but her singing too continues to get better all the time. She has always had great charm and rapport with the audience.

What a performance. Brilliance all round. Amazingly talented people.

It's worth every effort! I'm American and lived in Stuttgart for 3 years. I got to see them and meet them all across 4 different concerts. Their live performances exceed anything you can find on video and never disappoint. They're also some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Good luck!

Wow, absolutely fantastic, one of the best, if not the best, covers I've ever heard of this beautiful immortal classic. The Andrea Motis Quintet has been marveling on stages around the world for 14 years now. One of the most stable, talented and well-connected groups in all of European Jazz. Andrea, a former child prodigy trained in that factory of geniuses that is the Sant Andreu Jazz Band of maestro Chamorro, demonstrates her incredible level, good taste and versatility, this time with voice and trumpet, although the level does not drop with the sax either. And singing in French with, I think (but I´m not French), a good accent and pronunciation. I have already heard her sing in Spanish, English, Portuguese, Catalan and French. At the moment ... The accompaniment of the extraordinary musicians of always, Terraza, Traver, Chamorro and Pi is almost unbeatable, after 14 years together with Andrea, they have reached such an excellent level of rapport, they could almost go on stage without rehearsing songs not once and start playing them without further ado. Maybe it's what they do, after all. 😉

J'espère qu'ils vont venir donner une prestation au Québec soit a Montréal ou Mont-Laurier. Je les ai découvert vraiment par hasard et je suis tombé sous le charme d'Andréa et de son groupe.
