Doug8521, Do you even read the Bible? It contradicts that entire fallacious logic. The Catholics call rotting old men that molest children "Holy Father" a name reserved for the Lord of Hosts, they bow and pray before graven images which neither see, nor speak, nor hear. They seek intercession through Mary when Christ said "none may come to the Father, but by Me!" You disrespect both The Christ and Mary and worst of all, The Father! They can't even get the Sabbath right and they look and act like a cult and fit it's definition perfectly.

We Roman Catholics honor Mary because not only did she, untouched by man, consent to carry the Son of God, but that, in spite of knowing what would happen to her Child in the future, she also carried that sorrow, ("A sword will pierce your heart"), and accepted along with the possible fate of a child-bearing woman who had no husband, in that time, that future. Everyone has a mother; most of us love and are close to our mothers. How could we not love and honor the mother of the Savior? My mother, who was Portuguese, loved Our Lady of Fatima. My father, who had once told me he was an atheist, was heard reciting the Hail Mary in Latin as he had learned it as a boy in Italy, on his death bed, We pray not TO Mary, but FOR her intercession on our behalf to her Son, Jesus. It is like anyone asking a mutual friend who is also the friend of an important person, to ask a favor from the important person on one's behalf. Also for those who misunderstand the purpose of statues (and many Catholics who are not well versed in their faith also do), they are for focusing the mind on prayer and meditation. They have no power. We do not pray to statues, but for the intercession of the person represented. I love this movie, this hymn in which the children chant praises each in his or her native language, and Mary, the Blessed Mother.

Andrea is the perfect person to sing this beautiful song. When you hear him sing he draws you close to God. Years back I was blessed to go to Fatima. It was so beautiful. I took a prayer petition for a friend & she told me everything she had prayed for was fulfilled. One of the things she asked for was that her son to become a priest. He's now a priest! I was fortunate enough to meet several of the children's family members. This was truly a blessing, I'll cherish for the rest of my life. 🙏🏻🌹

I’ve always loved Andrea, and as a Catholic I am so grateful to see him singing our Mother such a lovely song. Beautiful movie by the way! Our Lady of Fatima pray for us 🙏 💫

Our good bishops here in the Philippines have asked the faithful to recite 10 Hail Mary everyday to implore our Holy Mother for protection against the pandemic. This song is heaven sent. It gives me serenity and inner peace and inspires to say the Holy Rosary daily.

As The Ark of the Covenant contained the Word i Of God and The Manna (Bread), in the same way Mary contained Jesus, The Word in Flesh and the Bread of Life. The Hebrews honored the Ark of the Covenant, we honour the Ark of the New Covenant. She is as pure as the Ark, she is as stainless as the Ark was. So stop dishonor Her, she is The Mother of all Christians!

I just saw the movie and it is fantastic. Due to being born on the feast day of the Immaculate Conception, I have a permanent connection with our Blessed Mother and I urge you all to love her as much as you can. Do not be afraid because no one can love her more than Jesus does. Obey her because she wants to lead you to her son. It’s what she wants as she also appeared to St. Juan Diego, St. Bernadette, and St. Dominic for the same reasons.

The movie was FANTASTIC... My sister was born on the feats of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary... and I was born on All Saints Day... kind of nice... and we grew up in a parish named after St Bernadette... There are sooo many reasons The Blessed Virgin Mary was/is exulted above the angels and the saints... BUT I would guess the number one reason would be her willingness to do the bidding of God "Be it done unto me according to thy will" was her response to the angel Gabriel... I can barley make it through the passage in Luke (without breaking into tears) when she goes to visit her cousin Elizabeth. And upon her arrival, Elizabeth proclaims "And who am I that the mother of our Lord should come and visit me? For upon the moment I heard your voice the child within my womb leaped for joy!" and Mary's response (this is where I loose it every time) "My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit finds great joy in God my savior. He has looked upon his poor handmaiden with favor and all generations shall call me blessed... The almighty has done great things for me and holy is his name. He has cast down the mighty from their thrown and lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things and the rich he has sent away empty. He has come the the help of his servant Israel and remembering his promise of mercy. The promise he made to our forefathers, to Abraham and his children forever."

Our lady told Francisco and Jacinta that they would join her soon and Jacinta would suffer a lot, die alone and then Our Lady would go get her. The three shepherds would sacrifice themselves for sinners by doing things as fasting. In 1919, with 10 years old, Francisco died by catching the Spanish Pneumonia that killed 75m people in 1918. He would say: “don’t worry I’m joining our lady very soon.” One year after Jacinta entered the hospital with an open wound on her chest and already very weakened after more then a year with the infection. The surgeon Castro Freire operated her by taking her two ribs in a desperate attempt to save her. At that time, there was no general anesthesia and she was just "stunned" with a little ether. The doctor said: “I was so impressed with this girl, any other child would have screamed or kicked with the pain but she would just say: “Oh my God. Oh my Jesus. Oh my Our lady.” In 1929 and after eighteen days of agony 9 year old Jacinta dies. Her body was left intact and would smell like flowers. “The girl smells like flowers” as the hospital D.Estefânia director would later say.
