Joining Red Bull KTM Factory Racing for 2023 after two years of contesting the FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship, Andrea Adamo defied all the odds to become world champion in just his third attempt!
Immediately impressing aboard his KTM 250 SX-F with second overall at the season-opener in Argentina, Andrea broke through with his maiden GP victory just three rounds later at Trentino in his native Italy. The rising star’s continued speed and consistency saw him move to the top of the MX2 World Championship standings at round nine and with his mid-season form and double race victory in Finland extending his lead even further, Adamo would clinch the title on home soil, in Maggiora, Italy, with one round to spare.
