Camera men need to start learning how to record boxers working on their craft. Zoom out a bit and let us see the footwork with every movement, punch thrown and slips. It's the small things ya'll miss that make up the worthy study material, you're too focused on the hands when they only tell half the story....

You know what? I wouldn't be surprised if for a moment, Ward literally tuned out everyone that's in that room. He probably doesn't even hear anything. That's how focused he looks.

The mirror is one of God's great secrets. You have to intuitively figure it out. I used its power in the 1970's at the New Oakland Boxing Club. George Foreman was training there at that time. I only wanted to be a full time student while I was learning to box. I was blessed in my research and life experiences to understand the power of the mirror. I could actually build myself up to being a fighter who had many fights, while not having actually no fights at all. I could beat double champions in the ring sparring. And, they did not know I was using advanced science of mind techniques.

Ward fighting Kovalev ward steps up and take chances he doesn't hang around bullying one weight class like ggg only name on his resume is a welterweight a semi elite fighter at best. great fighter's go up in weight classes.

ward will lose 8 rounds in this one, his ring smarts and genius works a certain way with the quality of a carl the tomato can froch but not with kovalev. all the genius won't help him when he tastes the REAL power of a real right hand. also as kovalevs trainer, jackson said and I agree, Andre is simply not in his prime anymore. what made him extra special was that quick head rolling defense but at 32 and inactivity AND going UP in weight, slows that down considerably but kovalev is in his best posture right now so andre loses a tko or decision. sorry ward fans, he was never p4p best, not even in the top 3.

Alvarez can still make 154, Floyd fights at 147, and Golovkin is scared shitless of fighting beyond 160lbs (up or down). Why would a light heavyweight champion target any of those 3?

Alexis Anguiano I think you don't watch boxing regularly. ggg and canelo duck each other and both ducked ward then ward moved up to light heavy weight. Floyd is retired and is a very small guy.

Aron S Floyd coming back for his 50th fight he has too he just says he's retired and I can only see him fighting Canelo or triple ggg supposedly that's gonna happen in 2017 and yeah floyd is pretty small but he can definitely meet triple GGG at 154 but yeah I agree with you guys I just want to see it happen ya know

I have a question for the hardcore boxing fans. When shadow boxing, is a fighter somewhat giving their strategy away or not really? I'm curious to know. Thanks.

The mitt work might give away a part of the game plan because your opponent and his camp might see what you want to counter and what combos you are working on specifically for him. Shadow boxing is a good exercise for form(if done seriously and in front of a mirror) and of course a bit for muscle memory. It cannot give away any strategies, but just as watching your opponents fights on tapes might give away tendencies and your bad habits of course.
