I found this clip about 2.5 years ago, but recently found out this little boy is already 12! My son is very musically inclined and so we used not have a tv, but watch Andre Ruie clips. One fine day: I LEARNED THAT MY SON APPERANTLY LEARNED THE WATER TRICK;). I HOPE ONE DAY HE LEARNS VIOLIN - BUT CURRENTLY 3 YEARS AND 7.5 MONTH OLD AND GRAVITATES TOWARDS PIANO - THOUGH KNOWS DIFFERENT INSTRUMENTS APART:). (PS. Sorry for caplock.. Learning my way around new keyboard. I don't have the time to retype...)

Truly amazing! Just in two years (from age 3 to age 5 in this video), he has GREATLY improved. Thanks to people who believe in Akim's gift in music. As you can see, Maestro Rieu is very patient and really loves working with new, up-coming instrumentalist such as Akim. This is a great showing for all involved with Akim's improvement and over-all well-being. I am wowed by this piece, as I did see the performance he did with Mr. Rieu when at the old age of 3 years! ( =

i saw the video of him in berlin when he first played with the orchestra at age 3. he was way ahead of his age then, but makings of a true professional has become apparent. he is not just unusually ahead of his age, he is a prodigy.

This is andre rieu who wanted to be with him on stage in 2004 and here in 2006 and he is always happy to participate in this show ... see interview after the show in 2004, Rieu said "I had brought him and auditioned two weeks before the show in 2004 and its strange ability as soon conquered me ... "it was not his wish and in reality it was not the wish of his mother or other parent. When adults support the truth, children, like him, also follow the inconsistencies (between adults) ... just for the love of music, but lucid on this world and on some issues. I'm like you, not desolate for him. He loves music and music makes him good. A.Rieu has succeeds ... this kid is known worldwide and recognized by great professional, but not unbearable star. It is wonderful to hear this young violinist (see the previous video when he was only three - sooo funny and cute). I teach at a school and we had a child who passed his grade 8 with distinction on violin when he was only 10 years old with a mark in the 140's and he also passed his cello exam grade 5 (distinction) at the same session and the examiner commented that it was the best playing that he had heard at that grade under exam conditions. It's a priviledge to hear these talented children?
