    Andre looks like a GREAT training partner. He knows he's better at grappling than Israel. You can see many times when he chooses to disengage/ engage based on making Israel work harder and learn more. This is how rolling should look.

    this is how rolling should look when it is appropriate cause sometimes it should not look like that ffs, things are not this or that, it depends on what you want to achieve. You are not going to roll like that if you are preparing for a competition.

    Learning how to pace and rest the lungs while grappling us something that only happens to people that have done it since childhood. It's like picking up a guitar at 25, you may become okay, but you'll never be great. Same with grappling. Actually, it's the same as striking I'd assume. Just cause guys like jones are effective strikers doesnt mean their striking is tight: he has just found a way to utilize his length and talent, along w the threat of his grappling. Jon's striking doesnt look that great, but because of the aformentioned factors, he can pull off shit, like when he drilled Machida in the chin. Toyota is a better striker than Jon on his worst day, but all the other variables even the table. Sorry, I'm just fuckin rambling 🤷‍♂️

    @zachbosworth6139

    Hmm Khabib finished with a triangle in his last fight? And obviously izzy will finish any fighter standing up if he has the choice. Just saying worst case scenario if he's put in his back and can't get up right away then having a respected, dangerous guard will go a long way and actually increase his chances of being able to get up and prevent the takedown in the first place and also allows him to throw strikes without the fear of being taken down. He should learn to sinch up those triangles with those long legs against big stocky guys like galvao once he has advanced that far into the position instead of having to flow into the omoplata every time. Your guys mma iq is very low.

  • @zachbosworth6139

    @zachbosworth6139

    Not asking him to be GSP or Ryan hall or khabib. Khabib level wrestling takes a lifetime to develop. I'm talking about learning to finish a fight when you find yourself with one of your opponents arms inside and one of their arms outside, after you've already been put into a weak position unwillingly. Not suggesting he pull guard or imanari to inverted heel hook. Attacks off the back in worst case scenarios that make opponents think twice about take downs and entering his guard. Isn't that why he trains jiu-jitsu? Simple..

  • @joatanpereira4272

    @@zachbosworth6139 I mean that he needs to train wrestling to get good at **defending** takedowns, because he might fight with a guy like Khabib and lose by points from taken down. With this kind of BJJ training, he will only know how to work on the ground, but not how to defend throws and etc.
