Andraya Carter talks transition from Tennessee basketball to ESPN
Andraya Carter is a rising star in the sports media landscape. In her sixth year at ESPN, Carter was named the 2023 NSMA Best Young Reporter, but it was never something that she ever imagined. The former Tennessee Lady Vol thought she would play basketball forever, but due to injuries, Carter had to give up her dream of hooping professionally. Carter had to put the ball down, but she picked the microphone up and the sports media industry has been better because of that.
