Equally exquisite as the original. I am happy I searched 'the beatles strawberry fields forever live' and in the lack of a The Beatles video (and actually finding out that The Beatles probably never performed this song live,) I got here. Love from Stockholm, Sweden!

It's very emotional watching the older people walking by and suddenly in one instant beginning to recognize the song of their youth and how the people freeze instantly and their spirits focus unconditionally on him singing the song. That is so beautiful.

The beatles were still one of the best selling bands a decade after they disbanded.. they didn't necessarily have to be apart of Beatlemania to love the Beatles. They look like they're in their mid to late fifties to me.
As a musician during my life time, I find it strange how people on the street from their little measley lives will go out of there way to to even acknowledge you are there. Be honest about it Glen. You don't stop for every musician in the street to make sure you don't miss that magical moment, either. People pass street musicians for all kinds of reasons. I have done it, and you have probably done it, too. It doesn't necessarily mean we're generally unable to recognize "the magic". More often than not, there's none to detect. It was so heartwarming to see the older folks stop in their tracks and get brought back to their youth. Must have been a huge wave of emotions that hit them on the spot. I even tried to spot the exact moments: 1:15 Lady stops dead in her tracks when she recognizes the intro tune. 2:03 Ginger haired lady and companion pauses their stroll to enjoy the song. 2:10 This lady came out of the shop at the right time to be greeted by this song and gets transported back in time. She eventually sings along. 2:26 Similar effect for this lady 3:04 Lady quickly hobbles to get a video of this amazing cover. 3:04 At the same time, younger lady in violet halts, her smile radiant. She can't believe she stumbled upon a live performance of SFF. 3:32 Man directs camera lady on how to record this rare opportunity, the Beatles themselves never even performed this live! This took longer than I expected. Hope I'll be able to hear an amazing cover like this live too, in my lifetime.
Amazing how Debussy's Arabesque 1 lead us to the picturesque Strawberry Fields.Wonderful choice and execution, Andres.

again, when a Beatles song is covered, suddenly their ingenious talent as composers becomes even more obvious. thank God for his gift, for giving us the Beatles.
I've watched this video dozen of times and I'm always amazed by the performance, quality and originality of this interpretation!
Love the Beatles and this cover is amazing
I will never get tired of this version ❤
Maravilhosa canção dos Beatles
Great version of a classic, thanks for this so very much, really superb!
I'm a grown man and I'm in tears because I'm listening to Debussy, and the Beatles. I must be nuts 😃
People with kids need to stop and watch! We always did, that’s how you teach music appreciation

My parents did, that's how I can listen to literally anything now (even outsider music)
Andres Mac is a great pianist and a great singer, and this video is fantastic. Thank you for posting this.
Have viewed other lovely Andres Mac clips before... and he is to be recognized and esteemed. Firstly, clearly an accomplished musician/performer, and equally important one of the Younger Generations who did not grow up with the FF, but who deeply understands -- and continues -- the universal legacy.
3:08 he smiles at the little girl obviously interested but being walked away by her dad.
The arabesque at the beginning was just amazing

This arrange perfectly reflects the theme of the song. For the first time I burst into tears while listening to music...
My 70-year-old heart is melting away......thank you, it is so beautiful...
I love you and this song on another level, and to answer you, yes, I’ll let you take me down to strawberry fields 🍓
