We saw this wonderful young lady perform on Friday night - after the standing ovation, we sat down and I was just able to mutter "stunning" thanks to the lump in my throat... her performance brought me to tears. I feel privileged to have seen her perform live on stage with André and his orchestra.

A great memory for my 80 birthday..thanks Emma and Andre ❤

Imagine: Two days before this performance undergoing a heavy and painful treatment in hospital (which has to be done every 5 month). One day ago: being able to go to the final rehearsal yesterday in very warm clothing to keep warm and do that very well. Today knocking this new song (this is NOT a cover!!) completely out of the park. In my view that is what makes Emma a legend, a real fighter, living her dream. And that last note... a mind blowing 13 seconds long.

A year ago André said “…she wants to be a singer.” In my opinion she’s already up there with the best who have ever lived. Her strength of character and drive are so impressive, and she seems such a lovely human being too. Impossible not to love her. ❤

I thought I was immune from tears after this length of time, but I was wrong, that key change, and then the length of those top notes at the end, just incredible, and they well and truly got me. There are no words to properly describe what she's achieving, this song is an absolutely stunning and appropriate replacement for Voila, Emma has shown us just how much she's grown musically in such a short time, the techniques she's using so naturally, and so powerfully are incredible, and the way this builds from a gentle start to the absolute climax at the end is superb. WELL DONE EMMA, ANDRE and ALL the JSO!

This song is a disappointment after "VOILÀ"! The melody and arrangement are made in the style of the 60s, 70s which will not appeal to the younger generation od EMMA FANS. We listened to "Voilà" 100 times-1000 times. This song can be listened to once maybe 2, 3, times. That's all

Emma is a very special girl, she is at an extremely high consciousness level, higher than most of her peers and most adults in general. I have detected no negative energy from Emma, she appears to generate only positive energy and her special gift is the ability to pack all of that positive energy into her singing. If receptive to the music, many listeners are taken for a positive spiritual journey that will leave them in awe of Emma’s amazing voice and projected positive energy. Emma will become a legend, she is already a superstar with a magical voice! One thing all of her fans share in general is their love, support, and concern for Emma. Yes, she's just cheerful and not selfish, and has a lot of good natural abilities in singing and interacting. However, she is still little known outside the Netherlands. She needs to look for GOOD composers and publish her songs. In my opinion, success = song + beauty + voice (that order).

There is a touching moment in this performance that I find heart-warming. The first time Emma holds that note so impossibly long, some young men in the crowd off to her left begin to hoot their approval of her extraordinary feat of vocal dexterity. She has the briefest moment before she must begin to sing again, and she uses it to look over to them in acknowledgement. Don't know why, but that small gesture got to me.

@@pioter3124 I have seen that interview and discussed it at some length with @rogerclutton here in the comments. Emma says that Mr. Oosterhuis wrote this song 20 years ago. This is speculation of course, but we wonder if he held on to it for so long waiting to find the right person to sing it. Finally, after all these years, he found Emma! It's surreal and perhaps providential that he was waiting for someone who was not even born when he wrote the song and then she appeared because the song had been written only for her all along. The thought kind of makes my head spin. Whatever is the case, it's a beautiful song and perfect for Emma.

I agree, from the first moment I heard Emma I knew she was special, gifted by a higher consciousness, with her soul a conduit to the highest consciousness of the universe (universes based on latest scientific evidence. With this happening while I am alive is a miracle and Emma is a gift to the world. In addition to her high consciousness level, she is extremely intelligent and a budding musical genius. Based on comments I have read, a large proportion of her listeners have had their souls awakened by her spiritual and emotional energy generated by singing. Her songs move me that way right back to her first appearances as a 12 year old in the Covid concerts in 2020 in PL Theatres and Kerkrade Stadium. ‘Opportunity’ showed her dynamic voice and importantly her natural charisma as a human being. ❤

@@samuraimalla I saw her live in May. I thought I was prepared, I was not. The sound quality was so good it’s like you hear it from the inside out. Like drowning in her voice. I could barely breathe for the 12 minutes she was on stage. Have you seen her early performances like this one? If you want a real Emma treat....This was only Emma's 2nd serious performance. It was a socially distanced and streamed concert organised by her 17 year old brother for the benefit of musicians and artists impacted by Covid back in 2020. Here Emma is introduced at time stamp 57:28, the video is the whole concert but the link should take you to the right place; a lovely moment with her father adjusting her microphone stand follows before she begins to sing 'Opportunity' by Sia then at 58:28. Please check out her latest performance with Andre with a new song called Dancing with the stars, only released on the 12th July 2024 and already has hit over half a million views. This young lady has the world at her feet and deservedly so. On the run up to the video of dancing with the stars she had been in hospital for a week and was only released 2 days before the performance. It is perfection. Unfortunately, this song did not allow EMMA to develop the three main elements of interpretation, as she did in "Voilà": emotions, expression and dynamic( nuances)!

Need to make official video like voila. The sound here doesn't sound good. Emma deserves better.and it will bring more ❤ and more like and more viewers.
