Sometimes a simple magnifier is just not enough, so this video shows which I choose for various types of work.
For the tiny things like SMD soldering, the digital microscope came out best, second place was my bench lamp/magnifier, third place was my smartphone.
The Andonstar has the most room to work under, and is protected from the heat of my (de)soldering. The magnifiers I use are fairly generic and you can pick then up from most places
