#AndazApnaApna was a Box Office flop but over the years this film has gained cult status and most of the people here believe that it's the greatest Indian comedy film ever made. Sadly, this film is only recommended for Indian audience as there are way too many slapstick dialogues which English speaking audience won't be able to understand from the subtitles.

This movie looks overwhelming and they really tried to cram every single joke into this ad. But this is probably the funniest movie in existence. When it came out, the expectations were so high and people weren’t expecting a comedy, so it flopped. But it’s the biggest hit of all time on the VHS-DVD circuit. And I’ve been watching it 5+ times a year since 1995 and I always find something new to laugh at. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Two daydreamers : clever Amar (Aamir) and simpleminded Prem (Salman). The movie did not do well at box office because it was never promoted.. people never knew when it came and was gone already....but over time it has received cult following and status. IMDB once rated it as 7th best comedy movie ever.

"Janne bhi do yarro" is the best comedy movie in indian history someone in comments may have miss information. :)

In 1994 u must make a romantic movie to be a hit. Cause large audience was of ladies and they just loved SRK. Now 2018 taste has changed and PPL now know that this movie was a classic. PPL each time nowadays urged on social media to Aamir and Salman to make this movie's sequal but they point blank refused.

This is probably the best comedy movie that you would see... it didnt do too well back in 1994 as Salman and Aamir werent big stars at that time... and comedy movies were not the 'trend' in the early 90's

Andaz Apna Apna simply cannot be translated. The numerous Bollywood, language and cultural jokes will fly over the heads of non-Hindi speakers. That said, AAA in the opinion of many is the funniest Hindi movie ever made.

This is one of the most goofiest movie ever made in bollywood yet I looo😍😍😍😘😘😘ve this movie so much. And the songs are just 😘 mindblowing. Don't go by the trailer. It has some seriously entertaining comedy, characters, dialogues, songs, and some raw implementation of genius comedy skills by literally every actors. Unfortunately the content is very Indian & can't be recommended to western audience.

This became a cult bollywood slapstick comedy, unfortunately some of the fun would be lost for you in translation, but a hilarious light comedy nevertheless, if you want to go further back, then you must also watch Jaaney Bhi Do Yaaron, and Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi. These three form the holy grail of bollywood comedy. Some others that are highly acclaimed are Gol Maal ,Angoor, Chashme Buddoor, Chupke Chupke and Padosan. All giants of Indian cinema in their own right and some of them remarkably low budget films.
