WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but I have been moving and living in different countries due to the nature of my work. I’ve lived in countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

Sammy did a great job! 🔥🔥.. btw, They are all Chrisye's songs. He was a legendary singer and song writer in indonesia.. with relatable story in lyric and authentic voice tone.. we are proud of him.. his songs are quite difficult to sing.. may he RIP 😢

If you want to react to Chrisye songs with him as vocalist, there was a concert sometimes ago by Erwin Gutawa and his orchestra with Chrisye as vocalist (done post his death). It was quite unique concert (tribute). You can find it in KZread for full concert (around 1 hour) but the are chapters in one of the comment if you want to go to specific songs. All the songs are excellent..... He is one of our legendary musician. The title of concert in youtube: Chrisye Live by Erwin Gutawa @Syncronize Fest 2019. We love him and miss him so much..........

Sammy Simorangkir is One of the Best Singer and Vocalist (Kerispatih), ever. I love his voice soooooo much. Also, he's the finalist of Indonesian Idol season 1, but he left it for a game competition.

he was a contestant of indonesian idol first season, but he didn't make it into the big stage, but he success as a band vocalist which is called kerispatih, but he was replaced with another vocalist because of drugs case, and now he have clean and healthy from any drugs.
