The word of God cannot be sufficient by itself because that prevents illiterate people from searching. It prevents atheists, or anyone who does not like to read, and is disinclined to ever reach out for picking up a Bible to encounter or discover God. God made everything and everyone. God can use anything and anyone (who is willing per free will). This is what it means to be "sovereign". (The f"ree will" an allowance because that is what it means to be "just".)

Follow this by helping your fellow humans. It need not be a grandiose gesture but something as simple taking a friend to lunch, calling someone you have not seen in a while and be sincerely interested in what they say. Even the simplest thing can be hugely rewarding. Think out not in, because we have become so focused on "me" it stunts our spiritual growth. If you do not like something then get involved. Help to change it.

I'm 67, plagued with three chronic health conditions, and simply unable to stop the genocide in Gaza or heal the millions of children suffering from various illnesses and afflictions, or hundreds of millions of old, ailing men and women suffering in poverty. But God could heal all those children and help all the afflicted. I'm a believer and a Christian. But I'm not going to pretend that the omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent God we're asked to believe is also a loving and caring Father. As the great German Christian mystic and priest put it, if God could ever depart from truth, I would choose truth.

As an encouragement for your son, I was delivered by God from several addictions one of which was alcohol and I will be celebrating 26 years of success this July!!! To God be the glory!!! Prayed for your son!!!

I didn’t watch the video and really don’t care to. Your comment was at the top when I was scrolling and it intrigued me. You say to read the Word if we want to hear the Lord speak to us. I believe the Word is what it says it is… a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path, but you and I both know, if the man was talking about hearing God’s voice, that he means something totally different than what you’re talking about. I also assume you’re one of those people who don’t believe in Spiritual Gifts and all that stuff ended with Paul and the others. Since you want to refer to the Bible, I pose this question - is there a time, new or Old Testament, where God didn’t speak to His people? When God didn’t perform miracles? When God didn’t have a close relationship with the people who was after His heart? If you don’t believe He still does, what scripture can you point me to that says He did, and why did He stop?

My son, who is going through his own torments at the moment is slowly drawing closer to God. He has to pick up a medication every day to wean him off terrible addiction. He has trouble sleeping but is staying strong. Yesterday in his way home he found lying on the path he’d trodden not 15 mins before two booklets . One “Help for peaceful sleep” Two “How to relax and let go” These were Health publications, someone must have dropped them, they were spotless and unsullied despite lying amongst damp grass on a little used path he’d trodden not 15 mins before . He was so excited when he came home to show me. We believe God made sure they were there for him.

??? I don’t. Those that believe that God needs to reveal something special to them personally, do. His word is satisfactory to answer our questions. If God speaks to you directly, please petition the entire church on earth and have the canon of the Bible reopened so that we can include your revelations in the new Bible.

I read a story about a couple, who separately asked God to give them a sign. God gave each of them a unique, unmistakable sign. So I asked God to give me a sign I was making a desicion He wanted, sand He sent me a unique sign. Every now and then, during my prayers in siruations, a day or two later- sure enough he gives me my unique sign.

Most time I find God speaks to me thru His Word, the Bible. The Holy Spirit will put it in my mind and heart and I can then process it and hopefully obey it.

Your job is to discern what he tells you.

I have heard Father speak to me many times. He has commanded me to do things at times that I would not normally do and when I tested the spirit, HE clearly said Yes, it is Me and that person I told you to say to them exactly what I told you is not going away until you do as I told you to do. lol. And on one occasion that person I gave the simple message to cried and cried and asked me who told me to say that and I said God and then she wept, crush hugged me and praised God for she didn't think he was hearing her prayers until I came to her that day. Simple, test the spirits, confirm it is of Father and trust and obey. He never tells us to do anything bad, it's just sometimes it may feel awkward for us to make such a bold step.

That is so wonderful to hear Michael and its so nice to share with someone who understands. It has happened to me and in every way my life is now a miracle. I have healed from something few people ever have a chance to heal from, I have had cptsd for 8 years following a life of childhoos and adult trauma. Iv had so many mental health issues over the years and overcome them that I know more than many psychologists. As I sit here in my new forever home, finally away from the utter madness of my family, I am healed, completely and absolutely. I sleep normally now, I have no anxiety or depression or insecurity or triggers of any kind. It took two years of prayer and meditation and I dont regret one second of it. In fact, being suddenly thrust back into the mad world I left in utter despair 8 years ago has been a huge challenge but Im finally thriving in my new absolutely beautiful home in rural Bali. I have never beeen more fulfilled and at peace in my life 🙏🙏🙏❤✨

I have been Clinically Dead 9 times in last 15 months, I was in an accident in a warehouse took .me 31 hours to crawl out with broken hips. 10.5 hours of surgery new parts 3 hours and 39 minutes later I leave hospital trauma center Miracles surround me always thanks to God and His only Son..need more examples Pray hard and Love God get some of your own, i have many many More I could share..Heck 10 dsys or so ago i fell desd. Thrown in meat wagon get to Trauma Center and Bang I hear a voice tell me get up and go to parking lot u are needed There. I did ( against All medical advice) and I was in fact needed There at that moment and miracle is my definition..♾️🪖

I don’t know what to do. I’m 33 years old and I’m still trying to get in the NBA and I can’t let go of the dream. I know I never played college basketball but I have the pedigree. My father did and I’ve played in train with multiple Hall of Fame coaches and I’ve also played in dominated current day. NBA players that are in the league right now. I know I have all the skills in the abilities. I just don’t really have the résumé except playing semi-professional basketball. I can’t seem to let go of this dream. I have begged God to take it away if he is not going to give me this dream. I’m afraid that it’s going to be an indefinite answer. Pray that I don’t waste my life chasing a dream that may never come true and pray that if I continue to chase it, it will become true and I can be a blessing to those around me that I love and care about, I don’t want to waste my life. I just want to God’s will.

I've never heard God audibly, but I most certainly have heard Him multiple times. He speaks to me through circumstances and episodes in my life, and how I know it's Him is 1) it's a brief message where EVERY word counts; very succinct; 2) it's life altering moving forward; words never forgotten; 3) very apropos; not only relevant but I NEEDED to hear it; and 4) it's so powerful, I can't help myself but to share it with others when the time is appropriate to share.

Scripture. God speaks through scripture. His counterfeit, Satan, speaks through extra biblical means to deceive because that is all he has at his disposal. This is why scripture tells us that if we seek God, Satan will flee. Beware that the things you listed are the very things Satan uses to deceive and manipulate people into serving him as god.

This is a very good video and I have saved it in my playlists to share later. The only thing that I would change is the visual aspect. The sides of the cross coming off either side of Mr. Lewis’s head are rather comical and just look silly. I suggest a centered cross not directly behind the man’s head.

I suffered a severe brain injury at actually died. It ruin my life and I want to know why. Been asking for 15 years. I need to know what I did wrong by 8. Everything happens for a reason.

You’re probably doing it wrong, praying for things or outcomes . Pray for courage, wisdom, dignity, forgiveness, and acceptance of God’s will. Assume that the right way of doing a thing abandons the self and you can climb out of darkness. If you expect an answer right away, you’ll be disappointed. Patience may be the ticket to receive the message you’re looking for. Remember, everything will be okay, it just may not look like you expect or think you want.

Is this supposed to be CS Lewis or someonespeaking what CS Lewis' wrighting? Why the AI voice? It sounds like a bot. At least it seems to quote scripture accurately. Otherwise, there's a creepy AI bot quality playing unnaturally fast.

Pretty sure I wouldn't have missed an audible voice from the sky (or even in my head) directing a message to me by name. Not many of us get that kind of unmistakable sign that God is speaking to us. Also, he prefaces the video by mentioning specifically praying for a dream or vision...and admits that this almost never happens...except, of course, to other people. Pretty sure I wouldn't have missed seeing a vision, either. Guidance from the Holy Spirit? Well, that seems pretty subjective. How do I know what "thought" or "impulse" comes from that? I haven't been able to tell the difference between my own thoughts and anything that might have come from outside myself. Advice or teaching from other people? Okay, WHICH other people? I listen to "prophets" and "preachers" online a great deal, and often they contradict each other. Some of them seem a little sketch. How do I discern between them? I've asked for help with this, and the doubts remain. As for open or closed doors, well...I don't see any open doors at the moment. And if more than one door ever does open, how do I know which one I'm supposed to choose? And reading scripture? Ok, but that seems pretty generalized. I have yet to open the Bible and see a direct response to any of the questions I'm having at any given moment. He hits the nail on the head when he admits that we ask for help, guidance, patience, wisdom, etc. and we wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...for any kind of answer. Surely God remembers that hope deferred makes the heart sick. But no amount of tears or pleading will move God from his designated course of action. I have to wait here in what amounts to a spiritual sensory deprivation tank, and somehow hold on to faith anyway. Well, I'm trying, but it sucks.

Stop it. The "talkers" are attention getters. Just stick to living your life in the word. If God wants you to do something or speak to someone it will happen naturally. Take time to be healthy and able to provide and fight if needed.

If they are clear signs and I don’t see them, it’s not my lack of attention. It’s the entity sending the signs that failed to customize them to my attention. if prayers are answered, then they are changing gods plan. If god knows your prayers ahead of time then its part of his plan and therefore your prayers will be answered or not according to his plan. So, your prayers have no effacy.

Very good question. I will pray for u. Be careful and discerning. I will always believe n Jesus even when people let me down. I've had to leave Churches because of what was going on. The bible is a translation from the greek and hebrew. It is different than r language. You have to study the context. Look up Marg Mowczko. Ask Holy Spirit to lead and guide u to the truth. Slavery is different everywhere and in completely different ways. I know little about the many types of slavery, but I know that some include a method of paying off debts and also a choice of having shelter and provisions when the alternative is being destitute.

@@lawrenceehrbar8667 What you mention is indentured servitude which is not slavery, it is a mutual accommodation which when both both parties are satisfied they part ways. Slavery, especially biblical slavery is unwilling bondage for life with no recourse for the victim.

You start the video with the claim that God always hears your prayers. then later you say with your first scripture reference, If I had cherished sin in my heart the Lord would not have listened .

Im ordained and spent the last 4 days trying to do the math behind HEAVEN TIME DILATION. Based on my calculations: 0.45 seconds in heaven is equal to 1.875 days on earth, the 30 min silence in heaven in chapter 66 is equal to 21 yrs on earth. P.S. im saying 2024 is chapter 66 based on what russia is doing threatening the US mainland, so if ww3 starts within the next few years, 2003 is the last time anyone heard God and i doubt any of those ppl were Americans. I love God but i wont for 1 second tolerate hypocrites saying God speaks to them when the math says he doesn't.
