That Glidden crash was a chute failure, Billy later said he noticed the stitching was frayed when he was packing it. I think Bob never said anything as to the reason for the crash so as not to place blame on his son. But it's pretty evident the strap snapped on one of the chute wings.

@ 37:45 Jerry's legs were coming out of the chassis just as the car was stopping. Very fortunate!!

Yea so my buddy mom got him a 170 new as she thought she was doing him a favor for clearing down trees on the mountain trails he and his wife ride motorcycles on. Well they get up there and mind you its up a bit in altitude and the damn thing doesn't run! Bran new won't run too high in altitude! He's got all kinds of saws in fact i just sold him a good 024 but mom was doing him a favor!!
