Sooyoung is just... better with every passing year.

Hyoyeon was the one crying. It's because it's been such a long time since the performed altogether. If I'm not mistaken, their last comeback before this 15 year anniversary is their 10th anniversary (which was when Sooyoung, Seohyun and Tiffany decided not to renew with SM). That's 5 years, so the nostalgia of performing together is just so heartwarming.

I really enjoyed this journey with you and had a lot of fun seeing your reaction 🌹 Congratulations to my ultimate group Girls Generation for the win 🎉🎉 You can't deny their performance, presence, and their vocals. For me personally the best thing about Forever 1 are thr Post chorus break and the Final chorus, because everyone gets a line and they get a moment for thier vocals and center, secondly as a Jessica stan, the fact that it would still work if they were together as ot9 really makes me happy that even though its probably a reach theres still ot9 sparks in the sould of GG

Yes. They made it a point that EVERYONE has a line. Each member sung the "Cause we are forever, it's now or never, yeah we're forever". And yeah, those are three segmented parts. So if it were to be sung by 9 original members, all of them gets one each.

This win reminded me of that twt translation of a korean kpop fan saying along the lines of "I replaced my idol to a newer one but I still have to compete with snsd fans.. they are fcking alive and well" 😂

This was for the 15th anniversary not 13 but any hoooot 🤣 to put that into perspective, people were still using kpop songs that they downloaded as their ringtone We need more adults back in KPOP!!!

As usual with Kpop, the Sones come off the top rope and smash the competition. We are old, and we need a little more time to board the plane, but we can still (slowly) show up and load the vote for our SNSD queens. I also vote for an SNSD marathon, plus solo songs. And as Nswer, I can be very sure that the members of NMIXX would be honored to come second to their SNSD seniors. They are walking the road that the ladies of SNSD established. They will have many years to slay the competition, because they are just getting better with every comeback.

It was a last minute surprise performance as all the rest of SNSD rushed down just to have fun performing together and meet Lee Soo Man as well. The small number of SONEs at the concert only expected to see Taeyeon and Hyoyeon that day, only to be stunned when the whole of SNSD appeared. Thus, most of the volume of fan-chants, cheers, and applause were from the other fandoms and attendees of the SMTOWN concert who were equally surprised as well.*

Not surprised by this at all. NMIXX are only 2 years into their journey and have a short but polarizing discography, while SNSD have 17 years of hits. If it had gone the other way, I'd have been shocked lol. I hope 15 years from now, we'll also be looking back on NMIXX fondly and they'll still be going and have a wonderful and dedicated fandom who will help them stand out against their hoobaes.
