  • @PianoWithBeth

    @PianoWithBeth

    Well, the composer plays it with pedal (you can see a video of him playing this piece on KZread), and at a faster pace than the Trinity edition says to play it. So going off the composers intentions, I would say yes.

  • @PianoWithBeth

    @PianoWithBeth

    6 жыл бұрын

    Mate, I don't give false examples. I put a lot of effort into making quality interpretations available on youtube, and I've had at least 5 composers contact me on here and thank me for my representations of their works on youtube. I believe you should be taking issue with Trinity for not upholding the integrity of Michael Proksch's work, instead of with me, for following the composers intentions and not Trinity's misguided ones. The difference in speed completely alters the expression of the piece. It's ludicrous! Also, the speed I play it at falls within the boundaries of "Allegro." One could argue that 126 is perhaps the minimum speed it can be played at, rather than the only speed. Do you not think the composers intentions matter at all?! If I were Michael, I would be mightily annoyed to find my piece so drastically altered in print from how I wrote it!
