I saw two homeless people outside the gas station the other day. I had $4 cash, and I gave that to them. It’s hot as f*** outside in Florida right now, and I noticed they had an empty cooler. I walked over and got them ice, a case of waters, and two pizzas from the gas station. Before I even walked all the way over they were so excited they were in tears. I started crying on the drive home thinking how hard it is outside, I’ve been homeless on these same streets. That’s my rant, but I just wanna say I really appreciate what you’re doing, it’s inspiring.

I pray to my Lord Jesus that you both are reunited together. I myself am facing homelessness because of a layoff. I am currently living in my truck and staying at a hospital parking garage where I pay $10 for a 5-day pass. I have job opportunities that I am looking into right now. It is very tough to be on the streets but I know for a fact that I will rise above this.

I felt that too or maybe that life can feel so demeaning to some that they're ashamed or embarrassed. I was a teenage girl homeless in the 80's & slept in clothes recycling metal boxes, but my silly pride was hurt when people would see me exiting my 'bed' whenever I got out. Anyway, many kind people offered me a hand, but I was just so embarrassed that I tried to act like I didn't need any help, thing is I needed lots of help & kindness.

  • @hannakinn

@@MalloryKnox-gh7uxsome of the most externally beautiful people I've know have wound up having crappy lives, people often only value them for what they have superficially, they attract attention from crappy human beings and are targets for people who victimize them. As really good looking people age and their looks fade it is hard for them, especially if they were the type person that used their looks as their meal ticket to get through life. Some never developed much of themself beyond being the beautiful girl or the handsome guy. Many seem sort of stuck at the age and maturity level they were at in their teens or 20s. I think external beauty can be difficult in ways most of us don't think about. I have also noticed when really attractive people complain people are like..OK whatever boo hoo hoo, you're beautiful, it can't be that bad, look at yourself, etc.. As if external beauty is this valuable thing that solves everything. I have wondered in the past if humans would be better if we all had the same identical face but humans being what we are we'd find something else to judge.

Life can be so difficult, but so much more so if you have no regular monies, shelter, food, clothes, (phones!)- your safety is gone, and for the most part so are your choices. You give endlessly to people who are in the worst way, often far from "home" or just no longer have a "home." I cannot thank you enough, I will follow you to watch how wonderful it is to see people at least have clothes and shoes to wear, and a meal to eat... God Bless You Sir!

It's such a disservice as a society we don't have payphones anymore.

Knate you are making such a difference both in helping others who need it on the streets, and inspiring those who watch from afar.

The kindness you offer to the homeless is heartwarming to see. Even if it doesn't get some working or off the street, it gets them more comfortable and feeling more "human".

ALOHA is what your all about. Helping those with minimum needs, and it won't break your bank. ( I think this is something a basic person can do, even just once for someone is great. I wish everyone would help a person in need,, in Hawaii our situation is not being addressed and it gets worst every year.. I do what I can. KEEP UP THE GREATNESS! MAHALO.

You are the best thing out there for those living on the street! Looks like a fella may take you up on rehab, just needs a little more time. Thank you for getting the fella home, he was very emotional about his life on the streets. God bless you Knate! Love you man!
